[Q] docking station with speakers - Desire Accessories

hey
Just wondering if anyone has seen a docking station with speakers?
Just like one you would have for an ipod.
I've searched the internet but haven't found anything.
Maybe they don't exist!

I haven't seen anything like it. The dock would need to take sound out through the 3.5mm headphone jack, the Desire doesn't support sound via USB.

thanks for the info tarmacsurfer

Bluetooth Audio Adapter - BT to 1/8" stereo plug?

Ok, im my mind, this does not seem like much of a stretch, although i have not been able to find anything like i am thinking. What i picture is a relatively small (about 30 mm diameter) bluetooth adapter to stream audio too. The "button" would have a 1/8" stereo adapter coming out the back side so that you could plug this into a aux input on a car stereo, or whatever else. Right now, i have an 1/8" 90 degree adapter to a 2' patch cable to a 3/32" to 1/8" adapter, to the ever so wonderful HTC usb to 3/32" audio and power adapter. This is a pain in the ass. Bluetooth stereo headphones are out. Hell, bluetooth GPS recievers are out that are around the same size that i am thinking this (from what i know) non existant device should be. Can anyone help me out here? All i want is a (small) bluetooth device that has a 1/8" stereo jack on it to plug in my car without the need for any wires.
Does such a magical device exist? Cheers.

[Q] MicroUSB Headset/Charger?

Has anyone seen a microUSB dock/charger/headset that has audio capability as well as charging the phone? What I'd like is to play music from, have headset controls from, and charge the phone all from the microUSB port on the bottom... or is this what car docks are supposed to do?
The way my car is, it's annoying to plug in the charger on the bottom AND the line out on the top - if there's a headset/adapter type thing, I figure I'll buy one of those and build my own car dock, and potentially speaker dock for the indoors.
OR: Just a microUSB headset - maybe I could add charger wires to it...
Month-long bump: I've realized that all I want right now is a microUSB headset, like for the older phones with no headphone jack. Obviously they don't make these for the G2x; has anyone confirmed another LG headset that works with this phone?
I honestly dont know if anything like that exists but I dont think so because of several reasons. Just a few that come to mind I'm not sure if the kernel driver supports it even if it could; the power running parallel to the audio probably would sound terrible; the USB would probably have to be used with a USB (female) to micro-USB (male) adapter since if you were to find it, it would probably be for PC so needed to be converted further adding to the reduction in sound quality.
Silly question.... why not just use Bluetooth and then usb to charge/data only??
Not a silly question at all. I don't feel like paying for a bluetooth adapter but also, because I've had bad luck with them in the past, as far as sound quality goes; I wasn't very impressed. Are there any good/reasonably priced bluetooth adapters that you've had luck with?
The blackberry audio gateway has been reliable for me and sounds decent.
Hmm maybe... not really a fan of having to plug that in, in addition to my stereo. I'll keep it in mind. Any others?

[Q] Dock/Speaker

Hi everybody, after some unsuccessful searches on google i'm trying here i hope someone will help me to find a solution. I have the infuse with jelly bean liquid smooth rom everything runs good, from a couple of days i'm thinking that i would like to listen to my music with a speaker or something in order to have louder effect. i already have awesome beats so my audio it's better but the speaker of the phone can't compare with a docking station or a bigger speaker. So here my questions:
1. I found the docking station on amazon designed for the samsung infuse it's very nice but does that play audio or not! it charges the phone but has any speaker integrated or not?
2. I have an hp portable speaker can i connect it to my phone or not? the problem is that i need an adapter cause the cable of the speaker is not compatible with the phone. is any adapter that will able me to connect phone to speaker? The speaker model is WN483AA HP Portable Speaker, what kind of adapter I need?
If you can help me thanks in advance to xda and everybody xda the best!!!!
sorry for any mistakes working on my english everyday
The docking station for Infuse does not have a speaker. It has a 3.5 mm jack ( same size as on phone ) to plug a speaker into.
I looked at the HP speaker you have and can not come up with an adapter that can be used.
I googled and found this:

A few other similar things googling MobiAir smartphone dock
I'm sure you can find more.

USB C + 3.5mm Jack

Hi there. Anyone of you know if there is such adapter in the market? Basically im looking for a USB type C adapter the connects to the phone and then splits into another USB c + 3.5mm Jack
Sent from my XT1080
Hmmm.... I just assumed something like this would exist by now but some initial searching on various sites isn't turning up anything. (I did find one for the Lightning connector.)
Honestly, if you listen to a lot of music and can afford it, I'd highly recommend getting BT headphones/speakers (or the JBL mod of course!). I switched to BT headphones a number of years back... well before I got my Moto Z, and never looked back. Just not having to deal with the cords while riding the bus is soooo nice... plus most BT headphones have controls right on them to handle moving between tracks and adjusting volume.

USB-C to 3.5mm Converter Car Problem

Hey there! Like the title says, I ran into a problem with my new Oneplus 7 Pro. I bought a cheap USB-C to 3.5MM converter on amazon in order to listen to music in my car through the audio jack. However, I've tried it and it simply isn't working. It works with my headphones through the converter just fine, but not going through the car audio jack.
I've read of lots of people having similar problems. I tried going into developer options and changing the USB settings to file transfer or whatever and that didn't work. Does anyone have any ideas why it's not working on my car specifically?
Locked as per OP's request.
