TyTN II ROM, shipped from HTC, have reach 3.34.721.2, with the latest RADIO 1.70.19.09,.
The ROM update is 28/05/2008, just FYI,.

Anybody try this on a Tilt yet?
It's an old ROM, HTC is acting weird.
was talking to parleyp on aim about it, he ripped it apart in a kitchen and got the build number.
This is a good old build. I installed it and had to flash another radio. It is fast and stable, but it is very similar to 3.34. I have no idea why HTC re-released it and now of all times. It has the exact same drivers as the previous ROM also.

yep 19212...actually the last official shipped was 19214...
I´m testing it, seems to run very well, gps faster.....
But I have an issue, cannot connect to wpa2-psk/tkip wifi networks, but to open/wep/wpa/AES and wpa2/AES with no problem.
It also doesn´t detect anymore the wifi network type, I have to manually select the authentication and encryption type, before flashing, it worked.
Any hints about how to solve this?
Possible its an older ROM that has been tweaked for improvements?
Found the problem
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters]
DisableWPA whas set to 1 and it must be 0
Its an old release. I'm using it for like 6months back d, start when i bought my kaiser in Malaysia. the 3.34 version is much powerful compare with this version. much stable and the radio function make your camera and gps work faster and more stable.

but the screen rotation in 3.34 is too slow...

if you have a tilt, you need to search for the tilt keyboard fix.

My TyTN II is running ROM 3.28.405.0 WWE. Started the upgrade and received this message: "ERROR [294]: INVALID VENDER ID. Please check your ugprade utility." Anyone else have this problem?

i think this is for Vague? but I want it in my ELFIN! I keep getting a INCOMPATIBLE MODEL ID! so, after a lot of die-hard trying but so what.. here it is! a very very Clean ROM (I like clean ROMs, make me feel at ease )

does anybody have a WM6.5 CLEAN!!! for QVGA? Built around 23017? I don't like the 23047 taskbar!! YUCK! I don't think Microsoft released that kind of taskbar, it's awefull and stupid.

I can get the rom from their site Release Date: 2009-02-09
Upgrade operating system to Windows Mobile 6.1. ROM version:3.19.831.3; Radio version:1.59.42.15
But in the non HK site, it says Release Date: 2009-08-30
no other details, but a long list of Improved Functions and Fixes
but my SN says not supported for this file.
So are they the same or not? What's the diff? Since there's no special non Eng support in it anyway...

Hello. Complete newbie here, and I appologise if this is the wrong place to post this.
Just recently bought myself an HTC Raphael: Touch Pro with Windows Mobile 6.1. Now when I bought this, I forgot to ask for a Linux based OS so I got this and an ActiveSync app for my computer.
I have done a search in the forums using some keywords, but haven't seen any answeres to what I'm after. What I want is if anyone can recommend me an OS that is Linux based, that I can access the "root" of from any computer without the need of a third party app (just get in as if it was a mem stick), and can give the computer wireless internet (I'm guessing that drivers are needed no matter what for this part). Yes, this phone does give my computer wireless internet as it is now and would like to keep that. Anything else... I can download later.
Oh, and would like detailed instructions on how to 1: Backup the current OS (incase of problems), 2: Wipe it clean, and 3: installing the new OS.

I recently upgraded my Windows Mobile 6 ROM to Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM
(final rom version 2.16.831.3). I have used a basic Rom Update Utility, (I don't know exactly from where i got it), but I used a rom update without radio update.
As I have mentioned, There was NO RADIO in the package, because at that time I thought that radio was not so important for me
Consequence: My 3G Cammera has no option in the Camera app, and when i attemp to video-call someone the camera does not brodcast anything. The 2 MP cammera is working fine!
