[Q] Can't use SD card from Nokia in Desire - Desire Accessories

I have 8GB class 4 SD card from my old N85 that I'd like to use in my Desire. But Desire can't recognize it at all, it's like it isn't there. I tried to format it within Nokia from windows (in fat32) and from Nokia itself. It seems that Nokia creates some files on SD as soon as format is finished. Could that be the problem and is there a way to fix it?

Hi, im using the same 8gb as well, no problem at all. Can you read and write with a computer?

So do i, i switched my Desire's 4GB Classe 2 with my Nokia 5800 8GB Classe 4 with no problem.
Just put my Nokia on my computer, format as Fat32 and it worked.

4GB Micro SD Card

Hi
I was just wondering if anyone has ever used a 4gb SD Micro card (with adapter ofcourse) on their Xda 2 and if so, is it fully compatible?
I was gonna go for the normal 4gb SD card but then that won't be compatible with the newer Xda's should I decide to upgrade since they all take the Sd Micro's..
Cheers,
Riz.
not sure about the 4gb version but i have kingston 2gb micro with a sd adaptor and that works like a charm
Hi
I´m currently using a SanDisk ultra II 4gb and it works ok. I have qtek2020 with wm5

There is a difference between 4GB Sd and 4GB Micro SD Card.
The Micro SD > 2GB is only available as SDHC card, and that is not
(yet) supported by HTC
Our apologies regarding the FAQ, it is currently incorrect and the department who is in charge of the website has been informed.
The FAQ should state that we support up to 4GB with SD cards and 2GB with Mini and Micro-SD. We do not currently support SDHC/2.0 and as such we could not say as to whether these formats would work correctly with your device.
So as to repeat your question on capacity briefly, your HTC P3300 is supported for use with up to a 2GB Micro-SD card.

CECT M88+ don't recognize SDHC cards?!?

My new CECT M88+ doesn't recognize 4GB SDHC cards?!?
I formatted the card with FAT, FAT32, NTFS, but still nothing.
Is there any trick to do that?
Not any problem with the 2GB MicroSD card.
Is it possible that the seller is has sent me an M88 (instead of M88+)? Is there a mark for the difference?

2GB miniSD card not recognised, help!!!

i have recenly bought a htc trinity and i put my 2GB miniSD card inside it. the phone doesn't recognise that the memory card is inside, but when i put a 16MB miniSD card inside it, it recognises that a memory card is inside it. i have flashed 4 different roms and the same thing keeps happening. please can someone help me so that i can use my 2GB memory card. i would be so happy if someone could help me to get it recognised.
My experience is this:
Sandisk is the best brand for your trinity. I tried using a generic brand 2 gb minisd card and trinity won't recognize it. When I insert the sandisk mini 2 gb minisd card my trinity sees it instantly.
yes i bought a sandisk and it worked, thank you for your advice it was very helpful
FAT instead FAT 32
Normally works just to format it to FAT instead FAT 32

[Q] micro sd card problems

I have a sandisk 32gb micro sd card which works fine in my droidx and on win7. however, it's not recognized by the transformer. 16gb works fine. I'm on rev 13, which I updated today.
Anyone else run into this? Is there any workaround? Hate to buy another card.
format in pc as FAT 32
thanks, but I did a quick format and a full format, both fat32.

Phone supports 128GB SD Card

I thought it was interesting that a 128GB MicroSD card I bought works flawlessly with this phone. The phone handled all the formatting and showed no problems to note. I was able to transfer over 40GB using the phone and SMB transfer no problem. This is the brand in specific.
