Suddenly when trying to send a test message I get the following error message:
"Message Undeliverable. You must first subscribe to the text messaging feature through your service provider"
I've always been able to send and receive. I just returned from overseas and my TP reconfigures itself for my network , but I don't see what changes that might have made to stop SMS sending.
Any ideas what setting I need to fix?
Is this a network issue or a device issue.
Does any one have an Idea, as too, why all my incoming SMS are Unknown Sender, when in fact they are not unknown, they are in my contact list. Please note if I click on where is says "Unknown sender" which is a link by the way, I can then see who is sending the message. But the message comes in as Unknown Sender always.
Please help, I would like to correct this on my Phone Palm Treo Pro.
Please comment if you also have the same problem or if you think you have a solution to this problem. Thanks
UPDATE: I notice today, that the real problem is that my outgoing SMS (Text Messages ) are being register as Incoming ( they stay in my INBOX ) and incoming enters as Unknown Sender.
I think, if some one knows how to work with Registries, you can help me, or if you can recommend a full Option program for SMS/MMS.
Should sending an SMS message to another phone, in another country, always work?
I have a friend in the USA, and one in Uruaguay and neither of them receive my SMS messages.
I use the number they give me, and I am sure the format is correct.
Texting (sms) USA has never worked for me on whatever phone I use.
Can anyone give me any pointers please?
I thought the general setup for the US was a standard 10 digit number. If you have the entry as +112345676890 it should work, where the first '1' is the USA country code.
Does anyone know how to remove the call back number on every single sms message I receive? Even if the person has it turned off on their phone it still shows up on mine when they send me a message. I would just use another messaging app because that fixes the problem but then I can send mms messages. I'm on a local carrier and can't find the settings to put in to fix this either. Any help is appreciated thanks.
*can't send mms I meant to say.
