AOSP/2.1 icons - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps

I've scoured the site for a 2.1 icon update.zip that will work with 2.1 Sprint-based ROMS (essentially just want the AOSP-styled internet, camera, mail, and messaging icons), but came up fruitless. If someone could help me out with this, I would be most appreciative.

Oz IM Issue

Okay I have tried searching and haven't found an answer. When I am signed in using Oz IM it creates an icon in the top "taskbar" (I can't find an official name for that area), and on my phone since I use both Yahoo and MSN it creates a multiple notification bubble. This hides the fact that I may have a text message or a missed call from being able to see at a glance on the top of the screen. Is there any way to extend the visible area so that I can see more icons, remove existing system icons or remove the Oz IM icons all together (this would be the more preferable solution)?
I am aware of this post:

but it doesn't solve what I need it to.
Also I should mention I am running the EnergyROM 1.x series, build 32609

[Q] GingerVillain -- how to get rid of green status icons?

So thanks to the ten posts rule I can't post in GingerVillain thread... I'll have to try here then.
Basically under GingerVillain it seems that WiFi and MobileInternet icons in status bar turn green when Google synchronization is working (or so it seems according to the relevant thread).
I find this color more than a little annoying, I don't care about Google sync status (never seen it not to work anyway), I want them to just be normal white.
Is it possible?
If it requires some 'modding' -- I do have some experience (like replacing pictures in framework-res.apk) -- I just need pointers as to what needs to be done.
Thanks in advance!
By the way, maybe someone can repost the question into actual Ginger Villain thread?
It's here:

Its not about syncing. Just that you have a reliable connection to the google network

Custom ICS Toggle Icons for Power Widget Apps?

I promise I refrain plenty when it comes to making new threads, but I've tried several search engines (Google, xda's, etc) to no avail...
Anyways, my inquiry is pretty self explanatory by the thread title. Just wondering if anyone else has stumbled across an ICS icon pack for power widget replacements (like SwitchPro).
Please & thanks if you can help.

Missing Smileys on ICS

Due to lack of posts i can't post this on the development forum, but maybe someone can help. Installed latest Fallout rom with Sense 4 and ICS but notice on the google talk app, which i use a lot, i can no longer add smileys to messages, or use smileys (emoticons) anywhere to be honest. Used to hit menu and option to insert smiley was there on sense 3.5, but no longer on sense 4. How do i do that, I need the smileys. Can't see a button anywhere.
Guess no-one knows the answer to this. On ICS, go to google chat, and see if there is a smiley list? Used to be on sense 3.5, not on sense 4, yet there should be. Yes you can enter smileys manually, or some are on the onscreen keyboard, but there used to be a list, so you can see them, see what they are rather than symbols. On reading google chat help, that option should still be there.
Any help would be appreciated
I don't have the list in GTalk either. It's a little frustrating, because I love using smileys to express myself, but I love Sense 4 too much to go back to Sense 3.5.
The list of smileys shows in the messaging app, however.
It's quite frustrating, not sure if its a sense 4 issue or intentionally missing from GTalk. Had to go back to sense 3.5 as i miss those smileys and use Gtalk all the time
