Hi,
I bought an XDA II from O2 in the UK a couple of years ago. Until recently it has all been working fine, keeping up with my needs. In April I went to Spain for four months, leaving my PC, PDA etc behind. When I got back the XDA was dead, I charged it up. I the first problem was that the backlight wasn't working. I still managed to boot up Windows and configure it all again. Still no backlight. I tried changing all sorts of settings inside the PDA to no end. After rebooting the PDA it gets stuck on the O2 first screen when the device loads. Now the only way to get into Windows is giving it a hard reboot, but that gets me nowhere.
This morning I went to the O2 website and got the latest ROM upgrade. The whole process went smoothly, but no backlight. After rebooting the device after the install it got stuck on the O2 intro screen.
I had tried using the camara after the first charge, that gave a hardware error message.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
AJKA
i was upgraded my version from hi1 to hi3, and that's run perfectly in the morning, however, when i use my GPS at the night, there's is a problem, so i chose to restart my device ( the device was remaining about 1/5 battery ).
Unfortunately, i couldn't turn on my device, at that moment, i think my device is running out of battery, and then i back to my home and charge my device, i discovered that my I900 had no redlight signal. Now, i want to ask that my i900 dead or not? if not, is there any methods that can wake my device up?
P.S. i am sorry for my poor English.
PLEASE HELP ME !
i900 dead
i have flashed my i900 with free flash now is dead any solution please!!!!
thank
1) Put your Omnia on the table.
2) Use a sharp object (eg. pen) to soft-reset the Omnia by pressing the Reset-Button (beside power button).
3) Tricky here. When you see the Omnia logo, immediately press [Call]+[Cancel] button together to get to "Do you want to format the memory?". Don't worry the Firmware will be be erase, it only reset the Omnia to the latest (last) firmware. Follow the instruction on the screen.
4) And you got your Omnia up and running again.
5) Reinstall the additional software you have before.
6) Happy Phoning.
Ciao.

I thought someone had posted about this recently. Threw me off.
I have my vibrant for a year now and installed Eugene's Ginger Clone with no problems for I think 6months now... but then suddenly my phone hanged so I rebooted it then got stucked at Vibrant Samsung screen.. I decided to Odin back to STOCK all is good I can hear the T-Mobile chime at boot but my screen is still stuck at the Vibrant Samsung Mode, before i Odined I managed to run clockworkmod did a restore back from stock same thing happened stuck at Vibrant screen. By the way I dropped my phone about 8 months ago and had cracks on screen but it is still functions like new.
Please help me even if I normal reboot my phone I can still hear the Tmobile chime but still stuck at Vibrant Samsung text and still lights up the buttons when I tap into it..
Your Help would be much appreciated.
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0 (YP-G70) for quite a good price. Since I already have a tablet, I decided to be a bit daring. After playing with the device for awhile, I tried to install Gingerbread using instructions I found for the I9000, since I had read about other processes designed for the I9000 working on the YP-G70.
The tablet started into download mode, I started Odin, and connected the device. Everything proceeds fine until the first box in Odin suddenly turns red and warns me of a fail. At this point, I turn the tablet off. Now, it won't turn on normally or into download or recovery mode, and it is not being picked up by my computer.
Is there anything to be done, or have I created a well-priced--if still somewhat expensive--paper weight?
Sounds like it's bricked. I'm in the same situation and after about a month of research and asking around, no luck. Here's my post.

Good afternoon!
I'm new here and have searched the forum before posting what is going on with my phone ... Was carrying around when finished I removed the charger ai started tinkering on it, I realized that there was waging unplugged it, only to reconnect it hangs on a screen that Samsung Mobile has not come out of it, since Tenti Hard Reset does the normal reset done appears at the end which was successfully done and restarts there and back at the same screen, Samsung Mobile, would have another way to do the same work?
