Does anyone one if there are ANY CDMA ROMS running 6.5.1 or 6.5.3??
XDA-Developers is primarily a GSM forum, and doesn't have many CDMA ROMs as a result. I recommend you look around PPCGeeks if you want to find custom ROMs for your CDMA Rhodium. The subforum I linked to has many CDMA equivalents to the GSM ROMs found on this subforum, many of them 6.5.x builds. Hope that helps
Or you could just look in this forum and see that there are several CDMA ROMs right here...
Though definitely not as many as on PPCGeeks.
PPCGeeks is nothing but BS highschool drama LOL
There's also some one www.everythingdiamond.info
If you're going to cook a rom yourself, that's one place to hangout as they're all helpful and will help if you have a problem with cooking.

Verizon stock rom could be a choice, but ROMs made by chefs is better, I'm using silenceRom for several weeks, very fast and stable

wow a little harsh huh? why the sour response?
Well, Doug is probably coming from some other forum where a new "Which is the best ROM?" kind of post is started each week. It is a natural question, but it gets old after a while.
In the Hermes thread for example, there are multiple kitchens for making ROMs, so everyone and his brother are putting out new ROMs constantly that suit their needs. Asking which is the best is kind of like asking which restaurant is best in San Francisco. There are good ones and bad ones, cheap ones and expensive ones, it is all a matter of taste.
At this point though, with three or so cooked ROMs out for the Kaiser, I think it might be a valid question. Most knowledgable people will have tried all three and come to some sort of conclusion.
Yeah really ! why would this piss anybody off ?

Really, a good way to find out what's best (for you) is to try them out. I know, everyone says that. But they say it for a reason.
A great place to find out before flashing is to hop into the individual threads for the specific ROMS and read what's included in each and what comments (good and bad) have been posted. There's only a few ROMs out at the moment, so that won't be hard at all.
Usually when anyone starts a thread like this they just want someone to throw out an easy "The best ROM is...". I am personally using the HTC stock at the moment. I like it for now, others don't. So, you'll have to decide for yourself.
Have fun finding out!

My issue with the question is that if there truly was a "best ROM so far" available, it would be posted as such and probably stickied. The point is that there is no BEST, even with only 3 of them out there. Each is different.
I've tried all three ROMs and seem to be about the same. Only differences are the apps included, and storage space. Check them out and see for yourself.
Kaiser Roms, which is best?
I spent the last two days testing out all the variants of the ROMS out there, and there are pretty much only 4 English versions available.
Here you go, a nice summary of the results in one quick read, but i've not included the links to the files, some work for you
1. the stock HTC one - RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.5_radio_sign_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.11_Ship.exe (uses WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620)
and then 3 or so (because he has sub versions to remove unnecessary programs) variants of the same ROM by Helmi:
2. helmi_Kaiser_1.57.000.1_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - a cooked version based on HTC WWE version but has newer WM6 CE base code (WM6 CE OS 5.2.1908)
3. Helmi_Kaiser_1.57.00.02_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - another cooked version of HTC_WWE version but has selectable "activator" directory of cabs that the user can install as desired. Also uses same WM6 CE OS 5.2.1908 as above.
4. Helmi_Kaiser_1.57.00.03_AKU.0.7.0.Cooked.exe - yet another flavour, but this one has virtually all extra programs removed in a good attempt at freeing up as much memory as possible, it also uses a newer version of WM6 CE OS 5.2.1921.
see Helmi's link for all the info. My hats off to you Helmi.
In the end, I decided to go with the standard version as released by HTC, as I didn't notice much of a difference myself. I have naturally upgraded various cabs and installed my ideal base set of apps to get the machine setup as I prefer. My decision to go this way was based on what I prefer and you should really try the ROMS yourself to make the correct decision, I didn't try every program with each version so perhaps i missed things.
I upgraded the Radio to version 1.27.12.17. -(this doesn't appear to make any difference to my terrible radio reception or the random dropping off of the radio link to GSM, neither does selecting the gsm option under band instead of auto). Thank god that I don't use 3G as there seems to be a real problem with the UMTS radio code. I just hope that I don't have a hardware fault, but I doubt it as numerous other people and links reflect similar issues to mine. We can only hope that HTC will release new RADIO code soon.
So, I wish you well in your endeavor to find "the perfect ROM".....
While I wouldn't have posted "best rom" question (as I agree, that is so subjective), that is a great help SAppie! Thanks!
Agree and Disagree
Not wanting to piss everyone off
I think the OP was requesting ROM test result and comparison, like SAppie comment, as I also agree there's no such thing as 'best ROM'.
Now, there're release with WM6.5 and others. Anyone can update this with newer ROM's comparison?
As a newbie in WM myself, some of the thread has 1000 pages .. to read all will be tough, but sometimes that's the only way. The FAQ and sticky is helpful as starting point for me ..
well i tried athineos os, hyperdragon III, life in 3d and now i will try 6.5 beta but so far the fastest is the athineos and it greaat
This is an old topic with no real constructive merit, so I'm closing it.
Perhaps this thread is what you're after: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=399510
Thanks
Dave
Sorry.. truly sorry for asking such a dumb question. I have found and will use the NEWB flashing guide, but even there it doesn't suggest which ROM to use.
Jade? Maybe?
I have a ATT branded Tilt, latest crappy ATT 6.1 build and am ready for all of the improvements.
Since there are so many different ROMs of different flavors, it honestly is hard to tell which one to use in general.
Can someone make a good suggestion? I even saw off one of the linked site for the ROM images, one for the new touch HD?
Hoping for ease of use, speed, and better radio reception.
Thanks.. and again sorry for the newbie question

Hey ..first off...welcome to the XDA forum and I hope you will find your "perfect" Rom in due time.
Just like everybody else...you have to try every Rom to find your best.
And please read first...I was in your shoes not too long ago but I have read so much for long time.
There are no short cuts here my friend.....Read and read more
Welcome to XDA. Check out the Links In my Signature. Phone Customization the XDA Way is a LONG but fulfilling Journey.
Thread Closed pursuant with the Guidelines Set forth in the Kaiser Section Announcement and the Forum Policies.
Where do you get the WM 6.5 ROM for the Fuze? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Just head over to the Raphael Rom Development section and there are tons of 6.5 ROMs to choose from....
of course, however, read the first sticky on flashing a rom in detail and do your research.
Officially, ATT is not purported to release a 6.5 for the fuze.
I have to recommend NRG’s Energy 3.0 Phoenix ROMs. I am running the 052209 version and he just released the 052809 update. I have found NRG’s ROMs to be FAST and VERY stable. If this is your first flash, this one might be the best to go with at first, hell it is the best what am I saying.
I can also recommend RRE's rom, which is what I'm using. I haven't tried the other one, because I was too lazy to set up the connections over the weekend myself. The RRE rom is configured to work "out of the box" on the at&t network. Fast & stable. Haven't had one problem with it. When we have another "rainy day" and I can't get outside, I might screw around with some of the others. Give the 6.5 a try, it's (in my opinion) better than 6.1.
But, BE WARNED! The cooks almost always post an FAQ section on their respective rom section because they get tired of answer the same questions over and over and over again....who wouldn't, so, if you ask a newbie question, expect to be ignored or flamed.
give it a try, and have fun!
I procured a 1.2 mytouch when my kaiser hit the skids after a year. since rooting it I have been itching to get a faster, more stacked rom. what can i do to help? Im merely a novice when it comes to developing. but am willing to learn anything that can help with development.
Personally I am not a dev, but I've been lurking around.
There has been way more development done over at the G1/Dream forums. Most devices sold in the US were either G1 or the myTouch 3G (32B), making the two devices very similar. As a result most of the development stuff ended up in the Dream forum.
The most informative threads for the Dream still apply:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=519523
Also try Cyanogenmod wiki
Cyangenmod IRC is still one of the best places for ROM devs, even though many have moved on to the Nexus One.
As for the Mytouch 1.2, support for your device is still limited because HTC hasn't released their kernel. But there can still be good work to be done.
You can find my ROM at PPC Geeks here.

AWESOME
Welcome
Good to see another chef joining here. Will flash the 6.5.X rom later (battery is empty)
You've maked an awesome thread if you ask me (totaly clear what I can expect when flashing this one). the screenshots, the info about the rom, everything what's needed is in the first posts...
Can i Help you with mirrors? Guess not needed with the great direct download links.
Will comment when I've played with this rom.

Thanks for trying me out and thanks for the compliments on the thread! I always try to make the 1st post contain all necessary information and give users a pretty good feel for what they're getting into. It goes unnoticed most of the time. It's good to see someone appreciate it!
If someone is having trouble with a download you can certainly mirror it. Hold off for now though. I'd like to try and keep track of how many times it's being downloaded.
For a bit more reading and history on the ROM you can also check out the veteran thread at PPCGeeks. The link is in my sig.
Thanks again! I look forward to your feedback!
CDMA !
WOW, Just saw it in time, this ROM is for CDMA devices only... DON'T FLASH THIS ROM ON YOUR GSM DEVICE.
To sharkie405:
I'll not flash this one with my GSM device.
There's another thread especially for CDMA devices HERE
There are no CDMA ROMS posted in this thread (Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile ROM Development).
To bad, would love to try this ROM, but I don't want to brick my Touch Pro 2 GSM.
Dammit!! Why are there no ROMs in that forum?? I thought that's where I should have posted it... Are there just no CDMA ROMs here? I'll have to get with a mod to move the thread then. Sorry about that. Glad you caught it in time.

Yeah, strange there are no ROMS, even NRGZ28 has his CDMA ROMs only posted on PPCGEEKS...
Now you are where you belong.
Thank you Sharkie.
Will be trying this one out very soon.
Nice to see more CDMA options around.(or any, on XDA)
Thanks NRG and Santod. I guess we'll find out why everyone has pulled their CDMA ROMs from XDA.
In any event, it's good to be here tucked away in the ever shrinking world of the CDMA TP2. A diamond in the rough...

Yes, thanks NRGz very much.
For moving this thread and for being the most dedicated rom chef I have seen.
I have always been grateful for your consistency of rom releases for both GSM and more so, for CDMA.
It is very unfortunate that there are not more options for us.
As not all GSM rom chefs care to do both.
Would be great of they did, so that there were not only more options, but also more bugs and issues that are CDMA related could be worked out amongst multiple experienced chefs.
Anyway, glad to see another option Sharkie.
Bump!
I see that this thread has 422 views. At least 200 or so of those views have been since the thread was moved to the proper location. I assume that at least some of the 200+ people that have viewed this thread since it was moved are in possession of a CDMA TP2 and furthermore I also assume that at least a few of you have flashed the ROM.
So, what do you think? Don't be shy
I Added this to the 2nd post for anyone that missed some of the wallpapers I used to include...
"HERE is a 7zip file of most of the wallpapers that I used to include in the ROMs but removed to save space. There are 1 or 2 originals by me in there, but most of them are from places like Zedge.net, Santod, Titleloo over at XDA and many more... I can't remember everywhere I nabbed a pic from, sorry "
Added new SharkieROM Cutting Edge Series ROMs to 1st post. Check back often for the latest and greatest!
nice rom man, its good to see ppl here
Great to finally see someone posting CDMA ROMs on XDA. I wish you had this as a GSM ROM. It looks great. Please keep it up here. XDA needs more quality CDMA ROMs like this.
Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm sticking around for the long haul. I told myself before I started the thread that no matter if there is absolutely no audience for CDMA TP2s here, I was going to stick around, just for the hell of it. Like you said, it's XDA, WTF do you mean there's no TP2 CDMA ROMs?!?! C'mon now! So, here I am
23699 and 28244 CE ROMs are up!
Added 23699 and 28244 SharkieROM CE v2.0 R2s to the 1st post!
MMTaskManager Skin is up in 2nd post.
I've made an MMTaskManager skin and posted it along with a couple of screenies in the 2nd post. If you try it, let me know what you think!

Ok, now that's cool. This is the first time I am actually jealous of CDMA owners.
