Please help. I do have all the frameworks up to date on my phone.

My guess is that in your hard reset, you removed some registry keys. My suggestion would be to reinstall all the related cabs.

[Q] Problem after flashing 5.1.1, downgrading to 5.1.0 still don't work (rmt_storage)

Hi,
I've flashed 5.1.1 image over my N5 using google factory images and flash-all.sh script (removed -w) option. After flash the phone rebooted correctly, but it just hangs on the 4 spinning dots. I've wait over 20 minutes but still no change. I've connected the phone again run logcat and the output was I guess the same as the pasted before.
I thought I move back to 5.1.0 but after doing that I still see the spinng dots and nothing more. The current log is pasted here.
Any help, pls? I've no idea what should I do now...

I've decided to go with Factory Reset procedure (5.1.0) image: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701

I have same problem porting a Xperia Z5 rom.

[Android 4.4.4] Broke my status bar wifi icon and soon my mind

I used more than one app to do things on wifi enable and wifi/network connect. Mainly mac, dns, turn off IP6. I tried to install a webcam app that also made use of things in that vein and now whenever wifi connects to a network successfully the status bar crashes/FCs over and over again. I turned the apps off but something must have happened to make it persistent. Connectivity itself and the wifi manager appear fine. As soon as I turn wifi off or it disconnects the status bar comes back.
Any ideas?

Looks like some system files were deleted. Did you remove anything or was it given to you like that.

Android 6's "Optimizing app 1 of 1" bug is ruining my life

So I have an LG K8 (2017) with this apparently well documented issue in Marshmallow where Android keeps trying to optimize one or more apps at boot, and takes forever to do so, often rebooting and then trying again, sometimes for hours on end. I'm not a firstworlder who can just get a new phone and be done with it, so I'd genuinely appreciate any guidance on how to fix this.
I enabled USB debugging and logged the phone while it boots, and the affected package seems to be 'googlequicksearchbox'. I'm not sure what this is, but it sounds like a part of Android, not something I can uninstall easily. Here are the relevant logs:
Code:

Need help with bricked VONTAR X3 Amlogic S905X3 4/64GB

Hi!
I bought Amlogic S905X3 4/64GB 1Gbit Ethernet Android Box (VONTAR X3) and it was DOA. No input from HDMI, only two LEDs are glowing and that’s it.
I tried Amlogic Burning Tool, without success. My PC doesn’t see the device despite using USB male-male cable capable of data transfer. The drivers are installed and everything should be ok.
I tried shorting some ‘pins’ as shown here (source: 4pda):
https://cs5-2.4pda.to/19610657/IMG_20200502_174831.jpg?ac3ab8d6ab3d87cf727a9e13ad8d43a8
But that didn’t work either. Maybe these aren’t the ‘pins’ I am looking for?
Also tried the reset button behind the AV/jack port but nothing happened.
Anyway, I’ve connected the device using UART and here’s my PuTTY log (it doesn't matter if I push the reset button or short the pins or put a bootable microSD inside - it's always the same):

Is it dead like disco or can it be reanimated somehow?
I already got a partial refund so if nothing can be done then it goes to a trash can.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi loocas21,
I had the same problem here.(only 2 leds on)
How I solve it:
1 - diconnect the power on your device;
2 - press the reset button (and let it pressed)
3 - connect the power
I hope it helps you
