Hi!
Just to check. Which download program are you using to download files to your PPC?
Also, why is it that files attached to posts in this board cannot be seen despite signing in using PPC. No problem when viewing from desktop PC
Thanks

Sorry, I can see the attached files here after signing in
How do you remove a program from a windows mobile 6 device that was not installed with a .cab file?
I installed iContact v0.2 and recently upgraded to a newer version. I can't seem to get rid of the old version being that it does not show in the list of programs to uninstall.
have you tried using a file explorer and manually deleting the file and it's folder from your phone?
Yes, I have. That's why I'm so confused.
Can you please upload a copy of Calculator.exe, Calculator.png and Calculator.lnk files in your Windows Mobile 6 /Windows folder and post a download link?
I installed the WM6.1 Bogart Edition (Final) Rom but don't like the calculator that is installed. The calculator I want is from the Windows Mobile 6 Rom.
the other one should still be their, just hidden in your windows folder. look for something close to "MobileCalculator." if it's not then here.
Windows Mobile 6 Calculator Not Windows Mobile 6.1 Calculator
Windows Mobile 6 Calculator Not Windows Mobile 6.1 Calculator.
Will you post the older calculator?
Thank You!
PowerCalc.exe
I ended up reinstalling the latest WM6.0 Update from Samsung and then I was able to find the Powercalc.exe application I have been looking for a long time.
Powercalc.exe is the simple calculator application that I coldn't find in the Windows Mobile 6.1 Bogart Edition. Powercalc.exe is included in Bogart's Rom already so all I had to do was use Resco Explorer 2007 to create a shortcut to Powercalc.exe.
If you are using a Windows Mobile Rom without Powercalc.exe I have attached the file for you. Just copy Powercalc.exe to your /Windows folder on your phone and in Resco Explorer 2007 browse to the file Powercalc.exe and select edit --> copy and browse to the start menu folder you want and select edit --> paste shortcut.
my bad, i've always used that one. i thought it was wm6 cal.
this powercalc works for portrait qvga?
i cannot seem to install .exe files, only .cab files.
theres apps and programs i would like and are compatible but just won't install.
I take it there is something out there to do this?
Hi.
One of the most frequently request i think is this: "Is there any way to convert cab or exe files into .xap ones?"
I haven't found anything about. Can you help me understanding if there is a possibility for this problem? I have an important app in .exe format i would install on my Samsung Omnia 7. Can you help me?
Tnx from south Italy.
Bye
Nico
Apps for wm <= 6.5 cannot be launched in wp7
but there has to be a way to translate .cab files , this OS is based partially at least on CE , and .cab files are in CE
I think the main problem is not the underlying OS, but the GUI is completely different. To put it simply, 6.5 and under had a different way of handling how apps looked and reacted on screen.
