In landscape view on my AT&T Tilt (i.e. when the keyboard is out and the scroll wheel is on the "top" of the phone), moving the wheel to the left scrolls down, and moving it to the right scrolls up. It seems counter-intuitive to me, and I find myself scrolling in the wrong direction often. I would like to be able to reverse the direction of the scroll wheel, but only while in landscape mode; portrait mode is fine. Is there a way to do this?

Anyone know of a registry entry that'll let me turn of the rotating functionality of the scroll wheel and have it be >just< a dPad? I would much rather it just work for up/down/left/right by clicking, not turning it. There was a registry entry to accomplish this for the T-Mobile Shadow, but it doesn't work with the TCruise
Running IGO8 8.3.4.102680, default skin. It's working quite well on my stock AT&T Pure except (always and except, right?) for one problem -- while in 3D mode following a route, the zoom out ("-") button on the screen zooms IN!
Anyone experience anything like this? I usually rely on the 2D views, but 3D is rather nice at times. I'd like to be able to zoom out to get an overview of the surrounding area. I have a sys.txt file, but I'm not sure how the 3D options work.
thanks
Jim
Press once on the center of the screen (dont drag or you'll go in to scroll mode) once you're on the map screen or 3d screen. Icons will pop up at the side and presets at the bottom will appear.
use the presets and it should be fine, if not go into settings and into navigation and turn off automatic overview
EDIT: Sorry, i just realized your problem was about the zoom button not working, i would edit it out but it wont hurt to leave it i guess >< lol
as for your situation, no i have not experienced it
I use the stock browser alot, with the thumb controls for the menu and what not. What irritates me the most is if I swipe my thumb to close to the edge of the top or bottom of the screen to open the options tab then select the settings menu, and it would open up half the menu outside the screen out of view. Is there no way to fix this so the menu drops down into view? Could this possibly be implemented? Because I don't always hold my xoom perfectly, and I know I can't be the only person this annoys.
Hello all,
I would like to flip the orientation of how swipes are registered by the touchpad in "Mouse cursor mode" so that it registers like in "Gesture mode." I think the best way to explain what I'm talking about is by examples, so here it goes:
Let's say you're looking at your home screen. if you want to switch to your screen to the right:
1. Using the screen, you would place one finger on the screen and swipe left.
2. Using Gesture mode, you would place two fingers on the touchpad and swipe left.
3. Using Mouse cursor mode, you have to place two fingers on the touchpad and swipe right.
Or, if you want to scroll down on your browser:
1. Using the screen, you would place one finger on the screen and swipe up.
2. Using Gesture mode, you would place two fingers on the touchpad and swipe up.
3. Using Mouse cursor mode, you have to place two fingers on the touchpad and swipe down.
The fact that Mouse cursor mode registers swipes opposite to how the screen and Gesture mode register swipes kinda drives me nuts. Does anybody know how to change this?
(I prefer using Mouse cursor mode because (1) I don't like the round circle pointer in Gesture mode; and (2) the transitions in Gesture mode when using the touchpad is jerky compared to transitions in Mouse cursor mode.)
Thanks!
I have noticed that when I put the phone in landscape, for example in chrome, the on-screen nav buttons disappear and mash into this weird looking thing that only presses home. I can't navigate webpages with the back button, nor access recent apps. Anyone else have this?
