SPB Mobile Shell 3 number format - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
I have a small problem with the number format in the call logs and incoming calls. they are all wrong. For mobiles I am after XXXX-XXX-XXX and for local calls (XX) XXXX-XXXX. They are set out correctly in Resco Contact Manager and I was hoping they could appear correctly in SPB.
I recently flashed the REE series 6 v3 ROM and this was when the problem started. Before that SPB Mobile Shell 3 with the stock ROM showed the correct number formats...?

Full Call History in Windows Mobile 6.1

Is there any way to make my device (HTC Touch) display full call history by default (not only missed calls)?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Mlh
First of all I think this does belong to the HTC Touch section.
Second, I don't know exact wich dialer is being used but as far as I know there are several ways to show the information you asked for:
1. When you open the dialer. Hit right soft key and press Call History.
2. When you open the dialer. Hit the right or up to show the Call History.
It's not HTC related. The call history (I am talking about) is part of standard Windows Mobile system and since WM 6.1 the call history is filtered to show only missed calls by default. :-(
Could you post a screenshot? I think it's the dialer that shows the missed calls...
This is a real bummer. i don't know if its an HTC problem or a Windows 6.1 problem, but I don't really care to see ONLY my missed calls when I click on "Call History" with windows mobile 6.0 i used to see all my calls - dialed received and missed.
Now it only shows me "missed calls" with the three click option of showing me "dialed, received or all" calls.
I'm using an HTC Tytn II.
Does Kaiser Tweak have an answer to this?
anyone find out how to fix this problem?
Full call Hystory
Windows mobiles devices are fully featured in many areas, but it is ironic that one of the ways in which they are limited is in the phone functions. This can be rectified with Handy Assistant, an application that monitors and manages your incoming calls. I had the same problem on my Sony Xperia and on the Htc Diamond 2. On top of that you can download Pontui Home 2, Icontact or IDialer. These 3 applications can make the job,I have the icons of those on the screen on Spb mobile shell 3.0. Unfortunately Handy Assistant is not free.
All the best

Displaying Caller ID to contacts dialled from Call History

My network (AT&T) has a setting which allows me to display my caller ID only to contacts. When I call a number in my address book.contact list, they can see my number but if I just dial a number not in the list, they can't.
But I've noticed that when I call people who are in my contact list from my call history, they see my number as "private". It's easier to dial someone from the call history list than to pick them from the huge contact list I have.
Is there a way to show my caller ID (a registry hack perhaps?) to people who are in my contact list, even if I dial them from my call history?
I'm using a Tilt that runs Windows Mobile 6.1, but I've seen this issue with both Windows Mobile phones I own (the other one is a Cingular 2125 smartphone with Windows mobile 6.1), so I think this is a general Windows Mobile issue than a phone issue.

6.5 Not recognizing contacts

I upgraded my spring tp2 to 6.5 a while back and now any number with a prefix 1 in front of the area code doesn't register when they call or text me. It just shows the number. On 6.1 it showed who was calling. I could just go through and change all the numbers (Used to I had to use the prefix) but I was wondering if there was a faster way.
I'm having a similar issue. When I call from my address book the phone adds a +(country code). I tried to fix it disabling and manipulating the Assited Dialing Settings but I couldn't make the + sign to dissapear. Any suggestion?

wm 6.5 prefix problem

Hi, i have a little problem with the wm 6.5. When i receive a
call for example 7777777 i get a number calling recognition in a
+307777777 form. The problem is that when i call back the network says its the wrong number meaning it cant recognize the +30. It works only if i change it to 0030, but i cant every time i receive a call to change the prefix.in addition to this the contacts are gettting updating after i receive a call meaning that i used to call somebody but after he calls me back the saved contact is updated so i cant call him back unless i change the prefix. Any suggestions?

[Q] Lenovo P770 - The problem of zero

I have a lenovo p770 ROW phone. In india we have 10digit mobile number or 11digit if you are dialing a mobile phone outside your state/circle
Normally these 3 formats are all correct when storing numbers in your phone book.
1. 9689012345 (10 digit mobile number)
2. 09689012345 , same 10digit mobile number with zero added . i generally store the numbers with zero prefix which provides an added advantage if your dialing outside your home state you wont get an error message
3. +919689012345 (country code added)
When you receive an incoming call or sms the numbers pushed by the operators are in 1st or 3rd format .
Problem : The lenovo dialer treats any number stored in the 2nd format as a different number and does not retrieve incoming call or sms information for that number . Contact information is only retrieved for numbers stored in 1st and 3rd format.
The problem can not just be solved by editing the phonebook because you have to store the STD mobile numbers prefixed with zero and if the person messages you lenovo phonebook will treat it as a different mobile number .
I have used over a dozen android/non-android mobile phones from sony, sony ericsson, motorola, samsung and htc but never had a problem of this sort.
You should consider to use lewa ROM for P770, this is the bug in the stock system. :crying:

This problem can be solved by removing the Google account and adding it again.
Yup, sometimes I got this problem also. After change 0 to my country code and synch to google account everything is okay now
