Hello There.
Im a G4 unlocked SIM / CID User. I just flashed latest TNT 5.0 ROM. ( Which is great). However somehow my ext rom became corrupted. I already downloaded the latest Official ROM from HTC (cingular 8125) and for some reason the flashing process hangs at the half and the program crahes, of course, i reset my device and it comes to the rainbow screen so i flash it again with wizard love to resurrect it.
However when i flash again another ROM like TNT 5.0 and error is show showint "not enough storage memory..." but i have abput 40 MB free. So this is how i know my ext rom is corrupted.
My question is. How do i repair my corrupted ext rom?? Is there a way to flash only an empty ext rom?? As i said i cannot flash into an oficial ROM because the process crashes.
What can i do?? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Flash this:

flashing now!!
Im flashing now.
I will let you know if this correct the problem.
Thanks a lot !!!!
Actually it didnt work !
Well i just flashed that empty ext rom but the problem persists. The error message is still being showed randomly "Your phone is running low on free stroage space...".
I just flashed the empty ext rom, but i didnt flash any other complete ROM again.
mmh... im a little bit lost and confused why is this message being shown
Go to the TNT 5.0 thread, look at post # 3 under "new foundations" 5th bullet down! It will tell you how to fix this!
Flash the official WM5 ROM from your carrier, then flash TNT ROM
Right now I have the stock ATT Tilt rom on my phone with the original 1.27 radio drivers I think.
I'm new to flashing cell phones but have been reading a lot on here so I am wondering if this is the right way to go about things. Here is my though process...
Take a Sprite backup of my phone and save to storage card.
Install HardSPL so I can actually flash a cooked rom.
Flash the cooked rom
Pretend I don't like 'x' rom and want to go back to how I was
Flash original ATT rom back to phone.
Restore backup.
Is that possible or the right way to go about this? I like the way my phone is now but am looking to get a little more speed/performance out of it while still being able to run all the apps that I use.
I guess I'm just looking to go back to the way it was in the event that I don't like 'x' rom.
Yes you can pretty much how you listed it.
Great, thanks. I'll have to try one of the roms in a couple days. There are so many great ones to choose from.
Flash original ATT rom back to phone.
Just make sure you have downloaded the correct ATT rom (and if required radio) for when/if you flash back.
Hi experts,
I have an old Wizard that works well, but I want to update it.
I flashed the 3.08 SPL and Radio 2.71. It works very well with these.
I have the T-mobil ROM 2.26 on it.
When I flash ANY ROM, the process works perfectly, BUT (!!!) the handset reconfigures itself with the T-mobile 2.26 stuff, and the reported version HAS NOT CHANGED.
Can you suggest a solution please?
O, I had pulled the SD card out.
Thanks
Eric
You flash a different rom, it updates it, finishes at 100% and tells you everything is ok. then WM loads and you see the previous rom?
So, got my self in a bit of trouble today, here's the situation:
- Recently flashed TPC v11 Mega Edition, and had been using it for about a week. Ran across some problems with apps freezing, so I decided I should try to start fresh and reflash a stock ROM.
- Reflashed AT&T Tilt stock ROM (3.57.502.2) via my SD card (my USB is not working, and hasn't in a while).
- Flash seemed like it was going great, but when the phone rebooted the TPC ROM was still there, yet it showed an older radio had been flashed (1.27.14.09)
- Knowing that this wasn't a good situation, I thought I'd try to reflash again via the USB. Began the process, except this time the flash process was now stuck at white "Loading..." screen.
- Thinking it was possibly a issue with my SD Card, I tried reformatting the card with FAT32 and recopying the KAISDIAG.nbh and ROM. Didn't work
- Tried copying a different ROM (TCP V11, a new RADIO, HardSPL 334... didn't work)
Unfortunately, since my USB doesn't work, I don't have an alternative way to flash the device. Surprisingling the TPC v11 ROM and the old RADIO seem to function somewhat, so the device is usable, although it seems as if I'm now stuck with this ROM for good. Also, audio seems not to function now... an unfortunately side effect. I can only assume this is related to the old Radio.
Any ideas as to why my flashing issue might be? ...thanks in advance.
Please consult STICKYs.
Several ways to get around this:
Put the phone into bootloader flash via SD or even computer as dosn't need to sync when in bootloader.
The issue you have with sound is that the stock ROM has a radio so therefore you now have an old radio.
To Flash via SD the ROM file name is KAISIMG.nbh.
Hope this helps any more problems please use a thread already available [Resources] Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom (For Noobs)

I may have stumbled across something while updating from Revolution 3.1 to the new 3.3 rom. I used this http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002226 to try and update the radio since it requires the newer one. During this it reset my root and made it so I had to start over. I had the right radio now just didnt have root or anything else I wanted. I used http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961406 to reroot. Now this changed my radio back, I even tried to replace the radio img in the program to use mine instead. After all was said and done I put the new http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=964841 Revolution on my sd card after reroot, I had put the radio zip I wanted on the sd card also before and forgot. I went to rom manager and installed rom from sd card zip. When this was finished it had installed the new rom and updated the radio to the new version I wanted in one pass. I have read not to install through rom manager and to follow the directions on how to upgrade the radio, but somehow it did it all together. These were on the sd card seperate and I only clicked the rom to install and didnt touch the phone until it finished booting back up. I am posting this to let others know, this may have been a freak of radio flashing but it might work for others also. I admire all of you who can and do make it so we can all enjoy our toys more, I really wish I was able to do it also.
muchas gracias : D
