Pls tell me how to enable HSDPA
I am using HTC Touch Pro T7276.
SAME HERE
Bought this 4rm idea..................help us
Shouldn't have to enable it as generally on, you can enable via Settings\Connections\Advanced network if not, mind you the reason you probably not on HSDPA is due to carrier\signal.

Hey all!
i need some help guys, i cant make my 3g/hsdpa internet work on my phone. im stuck with a "e" meaning im using edge and never seen the "H" or "3g" icon to use high speed internet.
ive been reading about flashing, and roms and whatnot and i think im in the right place on how to fix it, but have no idea where to even begin..
if someone can help...greatttly appreciated.....
ie. which rom works, how to install etc..
thankx
If you bought a touch pro and not an at&t fuze you cannot use 3g on your phone on the rogers network.
Rogers uses the 850 band for 3G and the touch pro does not support 8503g. if you have the at&t fuze it supports the 850 3g band and should work no matter what rom you use because 3g frequency support is hardware dependant not software.
so theres basically NOTHING i can do about this problem?
Unless you have superior abilities (borderline God-like) in the art of persuasion and are able to get the folks at Rogers to see the wisdom in offering 850 Band support for 3G ... sadly, no.

well the only real valid solution would be to sell the touch pro, and then buy an AT&T fuze.
Mine is a Fuze and I have the same problem.
I was using a May version of Energy Titanium ROM and had always an H (HSDPA), I am living in the same house, place the phone at the same place, the only thing I changed was upgrading to Jun version of Energy Titanium ROM, now I got only E (Edge) no matter if I turn 3G On/Off, set Advanced Network HSDPA On/Off.
I use Titanium because I love SPB Shell, Senses are too slow for me.
Radio: 1.08.25.20M1 (the same on both ROMs) +Rilphone.dll
Is a ROM issue?
Please help!
no one help?
any link to flash back to May13th Energy ROM?
Moved as not ROM Development.
Do I need HSDPA & HSUPA on - for T-Mobile USA? I read their 3g is only on 1700mhz. (which TP doesn't have)
Does this mean I should shut these 2 options off?
Will doing so improve battery life?
yes it improve batt life to turn it off
Thanks Rudegar. Anyone know if HSDPA &/or HSUPA are used in China?
If China Mobile or its affiliates support the standard 900/2100 MHz 3G bands, then your Fuze should be able to use the 3G network. Otherwise, turning it off could save an incredible amount of battery life.
T-Mobile has rolled out HSDPA and it works for Touch Pro II.
Shouldn't it also work for Touch Pro I?
In other forums I've read that the T-Mobile branded phones are made to accept 1700 mhz.
The same phones bought elsewhere, do not. Is this a hardware difference or just a software change? Since TM is rolling out HSDPA, I'd like to take advantage on my TP.
Internet speeds are awful on T-mobile with just EDGE.
The older devices will not accept HSDPA due to hardware.
Bruce, I'm not sure I understand you.
My Touch Pro (an unlocked version from Singapore) supports HSDPA, which T-Mobile has been rolling out.
My question is can and if it will work on T-Mobile's 3G network?
Sorry, I misunderstood you.
I was just pointing out that it is the hardware that determines network compatability.
If your hardware is capable, then it should work.
hi how can enable 900/2100 to use 3g connection on htc inspire 4g in outside us because i cant use 3g but edge??
Post in general
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
hardware issue.
no 900/2100 outside of US.unless there is a hack kit that enables u to hack the hardware.
Wrong section, but you can't use an Inspire 4g on T-mobile 3g .. no matter what. On ANY other 3g/4g other than the bands built into the device. You can't unlock bands, as that is hardware dependant.
What they said. It is hardware related. You would need to replace the internal anttena with one for T-Mobile
This has been covered many times. Thread closed
I have read that Sprint doesn't support HSDPA and it only supports EVDO rev a and b. But I was wanting to know if there is anyone in the forum that could verify this if they have a phone that supports HSDPA and states the max speed they get for downloads. It would help greatly as it would prevent me from getting one of the HSDPA phones and get the EVDO rev b phones.
Ok either no one here has a phone that is on the sprint network with HSDPA like a iphone 4g s or people think I haven't bothered to search which I have but have come up with no direct confirmation. So if someone has one could you please do a speed test on it and find what the speed is to see if it goes over 9Mbps if so then sprint supports HSDPA if not then they don't.
Has anyone found a way to tell the radio to allow 3g or better connections?
My carrier has crappy voice quality over 2G and during the N4 days I used to set 3G only.
Now with the Nexus 5 I don't want to loose LTE connectivity, so I'm looking for a way to tell the modem to use UMTS or LTE connections only.

I don't believe there is any mod for this as of yet. You'd have to lock to wcdma (hspa+) or leave it as is with edge/wcdma/lte. The only other thing i could think of is some sort of apn configuration to achieve your desired result. You would have to speak with technical support of your carrier to see.
Hope this helps
