Is it possible to get the windspeed and winddirection shown on the HTC Home Weather plugin for the chosen city? If yes, how can you do it and if no, any idea if another plugin can be shown instead of the weather plugin?
I really miss this too...
I don't think a weather forecast is really useful without wind directions / speed.
Wind speed and direction would be great.
Maybe somebody could make a plug in ? It could use the data of windguru.cz It would be great

I live in a small town which isn't listed in the weather application.
So I use a trick: when you are at the place you want to know the weather of, just go to Settings-> Locations and enable "use Wireless Networks" so the the app will show you the weather of your current location. If you don't want it to change even if you go somewhere else, disable the option so that it keeps that location.
I just upgraded to VZ's 6.5 (MR1). I didn't see this happening before and wonder if there is a way to fix it.
After adding two cities to the World Clock, I noticed that those two locations were also added to the weather locations. I don't really want them under weather, just the world clock. I deleted them as weather locations but that also removed them from the world clock.
I don't believe this used to happen with Manila/6.1. Before I upgraded, I had some cities for the clock and separate locations for weather.
Anyone know of a fix. Maybe they're in separate locations in the registry and can be edited manually?

Yeah I noticed this. I tried turning off location but that didn't work. To me its not a big deal at all but hopfully someone can find a solution for you.

Im pretty sure you can pin your location. I dont know if you can add the name of your city but if you go to your applications, weather, menu, Add, there should be an option at the top that says "My Location", it will pull up GMaps and you can put the pin on your location.
EDIT: After you pin your location and press done, it will allow you to name the location.
i did pin the location and it works for the weather widget but the pinned location doesn't shot up for the clock widget when it says select location

Sorry, dont think there is a way to have the little words under the clock say the location you created.
that is not the issue, the issue is that the clock just shows up with no weather at all because the pinned locaiton is not in the list of selecting location for when you add the clock widget unlike with the weather widget

It should show up with weather, if it does not, did you try refreshing weather and allowing the clock time to display?
yes, but the issue is that i cant select the pinned locaiton when i add the clock widget, it only says use current, or select new and the pinned locaiton isnt in either
so I want to get multiple weather widgets for different cities, how can I set it up?
(if I just put two beautiful widgets, there would share the same set up, only one city can be displayed)

You have to use an app different from Beautiful Widgets as multiple cities are not yet supported... I use Palmary Weather Pro, ended up being the best for me after trying almost everything.

Weatherbug allows you to choose the location then set the widget, allowing for multiple cites.
