Hi All,
i am looking for someone who can tell me how i can repair this phone?
The problem that i am having is that it is not booting anymore. Hard reset works, but it doesn't go further then the blue windows screen. Sometimes it goes further, but after a reset it's back to a brick again.
anyone has a clue?

Hi, I have the same problem. Can you tell me what are you done?
Please
Personally I think it is bad memory inside the phone. I had one of these phones and it died on me in the same manner, I don't think the chips they use in the phones are that great. If a hard reset doesn't work you'll have to probably send it back for warranty.
Hi,
Mine just has the same problem yesterday after using it for almost a year.
It has been a great phone for me.
I chat with the vendor in China. They said I have to pay both-way shipping charges if I decide to send it back for repair!
What have you guys done with it, please share.
Thank you

Hey guys,
I have had a HTC Diamond for quite some time now, I love(d) it! But I wanted to try out a new ROM. As you know a new non OEM ROM requires an unlock.
A quick search brought me to this link: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062
As it clearly states: THIS IS FOR CDMA DIAMONDS ONLY!
Well, I have a GSM phone... At the time I had never heard of "CDMA" so I went through with the instructions.
My phone shutdown, and wont come on again.
I have tried to hard reset with out any luck. Only sign of life is when I connect it to my computer/charger it gets hot (no light tho)
Is there any way to bring my baby back to life? =)
All help is really appreciated!
Welcome to the forum
Have a look here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Diamond
Perhaps a hard reset will be required (Back up your data)
Good luck,
Thank you
I had a look there before posting. The main problem for me is that the phone wont enter the bootscreen at all. No reaction when I push the power button
Is there a prog/app that allows me to start up the phone from my computer?
I have insurance on the phone, so I can get it repaired. Will they notice that I messed with the lock?
If so, how can I make sure they dont? Please help me!
Hi,
I think your device is what is technically known as proper ****ed
Get it into service station. It is unlikely they would be able to tell, no boot loader or any life at all, nah i doubt it. They will probably replace the main board....... and next time, use the right forum
Good luck my friend.

Hello,
I'm brand new to the forums, been reading up on my phone and things to do with it. I've just been running stock everything, unrooted and using GO overlays which I really like. I was thinking of rooting my phone and let me friend play around with it... BIG MISTAKE. My phone won't turn on, boot, power up or anything... Have they bricked my phone and is there ANYTHING at all that I can do to recover it? I was using Kies and have my phone backed up and everything... but assuming it won't even turn on... Does anyone have any advice on some options?
Galaxy SII SkyRocket I727
Rogers - Canada
-Pixie
If it wont turn on it sounds like a hardbrick, what did your friend flash? my guess he probably flashed a SGS II rom. You will have to repair it using jtag for 50$.
If you still got warranty you could try using it.
Going Crazy!
Holding down the volume key doesn't work, I can't download emulators to get it up with the phone unable to function or device drivers be updated or detected at all... I've read and read and read and NOTHING is working... I can see if I can create a jig, I think the parts are all around here somewhere... But is that the ONLY option? If it's hard bricked and they've completely messed it up, does anyone know of ANY potentials whatsoever of how to rebuild this thing back to normal?? Please help, I'm going to ASDLKDJLSKDJ someone up... !!! In the meantime I need to see if I can save this thing!
As I said for hardbrick you'll have to find a jtag repair service nearby and send your phone nad pay 50$.

I'm pretty sure I'm under warranty... Pretty sure they're going to be extremely peeved when they find out it's hardbricked from god knows what...
It took a while but I finally found the ordering site for jtag... Going to try that route I s'pose, thank you. Good thing I have an old crap phone as a back-up in the meantime... They don't require the SIM do they? I don't really trust sending that off...

No sim required. When you pull the battery out and put it back in and hold power do you even get a Samsung logo flash on the screen?

go the warranty way. you got nothing to loose
Hello,
I've been trying to fix this from September but with no success..
the device is not seen via USB, so I can't really do much.
ADB doesn't see it and nothing much else I can do.
I am getting quite stuck in this and I am wondering if there's anybody on the forum who lives in Lincolnshire UK and who would be able to repair it? or know of somewhere I could send the tablet to be repaired (Asus UK charges too much for this and it's not worth the cost)
thanks
Can you still reach the bootloader power on + vol down?
Sent from my XT1572 using Tapatalk
hiya,
no nothing, just stuck in boot (ASUS logo)
can't power it off
can't get into menus/recovery
can't reset with pin in reset button..
it just stays on and nothing else..
thanks

If there is no possibility to access your device you should think about to exchange your main board. This is the only chance to get the problem solved. I had the same situation 2 years ago.
Exchanging the main board takes a few hours and needs patience and fine mechanic skills. Otherwise you go to a work shop or ask a handicraft enthusiast.
You will find the right main board in the US like here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-MOTHER...8b40f09&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=3&sd=401081006002. Maybe you will find one in your home country.
I think TF300T is too valuable to throw it away because of that case.

You are a happy one. You found the instruction by Huebinger in English. It's the same I did follow to exchange my main board. You may trust it step by step. I know him personally.
Good luck!
Hi, a friend of mine gave me his honor 6x. He messed around with the phone and now the problem is that it goes to the Google Screen, but I can't log on with my google password, it has to be the last one that was on the phone used. He doesn't know his password anymore, he isn't the tech guy, he is more a user and knows that I can help often, but I don't know what to do. The screen stays, after some screens like WiFi and so on at the google screen.
Is there anyway to get the phone to the "real" factory reset? The factory reset is no real reset, it stil says I have to log on with the last google account that was used on the phone.
Is there something like ODIN for Samsung, that turns the phone back into a brandnew phone? I know it is his phone, but he hasn't got any data, all he has are the IMEI numbers.
Any help welcome,
I would like to give him his phone back as it was when he installed it the first time.

BTW: It is the BLN-L21
If a factory reset via recovery didn't work, you could try to flash a BLN-L21 firmware over the actual one; it could works. You can find the firmware in this thread, 1st post - https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/repository-honor-6x-file-depot-t3534800
**** now nothing is working at all, I cant even get into the recovery to update something.
The only screen I have is a black screen with:
YOUR DEVICE HAS FAILED VERIFICATION AND MAY NOT WORK PROPERLY
1) PRESS POWER TO CONTINUE
2... 3...
All doesn't help it takes me all to nowhere. I have an SD card with a dload folder in the phone, but I cannot do anything...
**** it seems like I bricked it.
Does someone has any help?

Are you able to get into the bootloader mode?
Hi,
I can get into an erecovery mode. But this fails.
I have only the screen I mentioned or the honor logo which after some time changes to the erecovery mode. There is no emergency dial pad or anything like this.
I don't know exactly what the bootloader mode is...

The first thing I would do is have your friend reset his account from a computer (I know, it's really obvious but I miss obvious things all the time). Secondly, try to contact Google Support? Third, and as a last resort, just flash a custom recovery and nuke all the data on the device, then custom ROM it.
If you could enter fastboot mode you could still have a chance; if you succeed to go there, check the 2 voices "FRP/Phone" and tell us what they say
Once - I don't know how - I came to a white screen with the Android symbol and both were "locked" or "on" I don't know the exact words. Now nothing happens. Once in a while I get to the update screen and it stops immediately at 5% and a big "!" I is shown...
Isn't there a way to give commands to the phone via USB? I don't know how ADB works, with my Samsung I never needed to know.
The Huawei or Lenovo software can't connect to the phone, too.

I only know that it is the BLN-L21 but I don't know more. It is from our for Europe. I hope I come to the point where I was yesterday then it will propably work.
I tell you as soon as I know. If someone has a link for the right firmware (Europe BLN-L21) please tell me.

Ha, this is the damn problem. If you read the first post you will understand. I am the man who helps everyone with their phones. Most of them are absolutely rookies that don't even have a PC... I am by far a professional but I can do SOME things.
So I don't know anything, I only have the imei's and the product number on the back of the phone and I definitely know it is his phone because he has it for many months. Sad but that's the way it is.

Couple of firmware in my signature for honor 6X repository and under that you will see BLN21 section. Check if you can use that firmware.

Locked and on are correct voices, you saw well, those are Factory Reset Protection and phone stands for the bootloader locked or unlocked. Both but especially FRP on could be a problem to easily reset the phone, obviously. Didn't see the video posted by @shashank1320, but I'll look for a solution.

Hi
It was really strange how it happened I had the new firmware on my SD card but nothing happens usually one screen was shown there and then the other, the black screen with the text. At one moment I left my phone alone. An hour later I pressed the the power button and I couldn't believe it. The phone must have installed the firmware in the background. How should I have guessed this?
It ended at the Google address I don't know. The problem is, in the videos the people long press a word and then choose ASSIST. This is not possible anymore. Than there was another tip, typing a #*#*61... number. Didn't work, too.
Another tip was dialing an emergency call and then choose contacts. Didn't work contacts was greyed out.
The phone did an update then, after restarting I could go through till the app drawer or the main screen - the only thing written was that I have no Google account or play store.
Then this video helped me:
Google Account Bypass Huawei Honer 6X BLN-L21(FRP Reset) Without PC
I could install the Google account manager and then choose the user / password thing. So I set it up with my own Google address and it works. I reset it, no problem. It works brilliant, WITH Google.
After all I spent 10 hours or more, for nothing. I give the phone back to my friend, it's ok, I am happy but it was pretty much work for nothing. Ok, my friend is happy, but people can't imagine that something like this is work.
Thanks for all your help to everyone of you. Why my phone behaved that way and I could even use the internet is a big mystery for me.

So atlast it worked thats a relief mate. Enjoy and good day.
Got the Note 20 Ultra 5g a week ago used from a decent reseller. Today I got the black screen of death. Stock firmware.
I want to return the phone while I have the chance, no interest in trying to fix it. It is password protected but I would ideally like to hard reset it before it goes back. Can anyone tell me how when I can't get the screen to work?
Phone beeps etc so I think is live.
The power button + vol down does give a vibration after 10 seconds but never gets to a Samsung logo.
Power button + vol up does the same.
Tried connecting to a pc, no change. No dex message on the PC.
If anyone can tell me how to do this reset so I can wipe it for peace of mind I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Edit; I removed the sim cards and then the PC detected the phone, and offered to install Dex. If that helps.
Ok before you do anything else. Stop. If you void the warranty by changing anything you can't return it
You need to find a trusted phone store near you or call the support number for the phones manufacturer
Thanks for the advice. Appreciated.

So you need to go into recovery mode and try something simple what you are gonna wanna do is find where to wipe the cache partition and that should solve it. but I'm guessing you can't get into recovery otherwise you could factory reset it there

Correct. The phone is goig back to the seller as it is within the return window. I don't want to mess with it. I think that was good advice. Did Samsung ever say if they resolved this issue properly? It puts me off this model. Very expensive phone to suffer such a problem.
