Hey.
Well I recently got this older PDA device. Unfortunately it has WM2003 on it. Now I was wondering if anyone also has this device and has done some tweaking and maybe succeeded in upgrading it to WM2003SE (screen rotation for instance).
Or maybe anyone knows of a firmware update to this product? I can't find anything about it on the net.
Wrong question, wrong forum
Post it in general forum instead
Hmmz, what an unsatisfying response. If you've looked closer you saw that i already posted my question in the correct category:
xda-developers > General discussion > General .
Anyone?
Did anyone find any info/mods on these? I have one i'm keen to mess with.
Thanks
Is there a thread anywhere explaining how to unlock one of these... the Samsung "Blackjack II" and put 6.1 onto it?
I dont know if 6.1 is out yet for "upgrade" so I was hoping to do this instead.
you mean the I780 ?
an official wm6.1 is due out soon, somewhere between september and october i think. There are some wm6.1 custom roms floating around, but i would highly recommend you wait for the official rom since the custom roms have more bugs than anything else ....
There is an Official I780 thread here : http://www.ppcsg.com/index.php?showtopic=100402 where you can post questions and read the experiences all the other people have had.
Sorry no, its the Samsung BlackJack II SGH-i617
Does that help?
i found this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1991079
it looks to me as if these guys are busy making a wm6.1 rom for the I617. if i were you i would keep my eyes on that topic, i'm sure they will post when they have released.
Also found this :
http://www.modaco.com/category/323/samsung-i617-i617-modaco-com/
seems to be a whole forum dedicated to the I617.
Anyway, hope that helps.
Hi...I did some searching on here with no luck...are there "cooks" for the Samsung Epix? Thanks!
It will be hard to find as this is an HTC devices forum only.
Try in off topic section there is a thread regarding samsug or visit winmodevs.
Perhaps another member can point you into another path.
Good luck,

First - let me apologize as I KNOW that this is NOT the correct place to put this.
There does not seem to be a forum for the "LEO" or HD2.
Has anyone seen this? Is anyone planning on ROMs for it? (I am sure that someone is.) It LOOKS like it is to be released this week in England? (See: http://www.softsailor.com/news/8132...o-to-be-released-on-october-12-in-the-uk.html )
I cannot find anything about it's availability in the US - anyone with knowledge?

THIS is (will be) my new phone when it is available.

This is definetly not the place for this thread, but I'm in the same place. This will be my next phone.
Probably they'll open its forum when it's released.
And I think it's going to pass the Kaiser forum as the most visited one in XDA in a short time, hehehe.

Hi all,
I've got a question concerning security boot camps. I saw a post on XDA Developers where a product is advertised.... I cannot find any reviews in this forum or online in general. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with it?
It concerns this message: https://www.xda-developers.com/become-a-cybersecurity-expert-with-this-extensive-bootcamp-bundle/
It seems a bit fishy to me but I'm really tempted to buy into it... have you had any experience with it?
I post this here because it targets security in general (which also includes Android or mobile devices in general). Looking for advice and general experiences, thank you in advance (and sorry if it doesn't belong here, I read the "What belongs in this forum" Post and think it will fit here...)
Thank you!

OP here, nevermind about this question.
I saw a few posts on a website that basically read like: "it's just a bunch of videos and there are more and better quality videos on youtube about the different subjects (which are free)" and "if it's sold for a small price and they say it's usually a lot more, it's almost always just worth the small price"
So don't bother with offers like those. Just wanted to say this in case anyone comes across this post.
