I've searched and searched all over trying to find a way to remove the carrier on the Today menu but I keep coming up empty handed. Can anyone help me?

Hi all, just been given a xdaIIi, 1st pda ive owned and I think its great albeit old. Ive managed to unlock it for t-mobile already using this site but would really appreciate some guidance as to what I could do to improve this unit.
I think im correct in saying its running rom version 1.1 as thats what comes up on the screen on a fresh power up.
any advise would be greatfully appreciated.

I have coming to this forum for a while and have always been thankful for the help and advice and for making my old MDA work the way is was meant to ;-).
Alas, the thing dies and I wanted to get something new so I bought this thing on eBay;

They call it the hTY Touch Flo or Hantel Q5and it is pre-loaded with WM6. It says it has built in GPS and a few other goodies but the iGo software just hangs the phone and does not fit the screen width and I have no way of changing it. It is also lacking some of the previous great features that I had especially with mfrazz's cooked rom.
I've scanned the forums and tried to search for this phone without much luck and was wondering if it might be similar enough to one of the phones on this forum to piggy back off of.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance.

Can I do something to VIEW and INPUT Simplified Chinese on a Palm Treo 750 running WM6?
I have tried adding fonts:
mssong
mingling
simhei
Then soft resetting as instructed in other forums ... no luck.
I live/work in China and message back and forth with Chinese friends. Yes, I know it is easier just to buy a phone here ... but I really don't feel like shelling out more money to replace an otherwise perfectly working phone.

is there a way to install htc sense on it?
and is there any suggestions as to what else i cant live without?
its win mo 6.5 with touchflo.

any recommendations? theres quite a bit of roms
i tried a few roms with the fuze, im kinda jaded now. couldnt find anything stable.
so i succesfully installed the energy rom, its working great but my keyboard is mapped wrong. ive searched several different string but nothing really comes up. and i have to wait 20 seconds between searches
any suggestions

i have a very big problem and i need your help please! my phone fall down and the screen broke! but it shows very well except dosn't work the touch screen!i mean nothig is working! just the hardware buttons! i will send it to the service but before i send i have to put the original rom! so first i removed the cottula 1.42 by HSPL2_RUN and 2. i put it back the original rom which is the "-HTC HD2-RUU_Leo_HTC_ELL_1.66.482.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.0 7U_2.06.51.07_Ship" greek rom!
so my question is: which version spl do i have to got? 1.42 or 1.66? mine sows 1.42.000 is that supposed to be? or because i put back the real rom it doesn't need! do i have to do something else?
