Hi,
Many ROM's i've tried have the "performance setting tool".
My current rom which I want to keep as longest as possible, doesn't have this program.
Where do I find it, and how do I install it?
I'm particularily interested in the dynamic clocking function. Does dynamic clocking already work, even without the performance tool installed?
many thanks

hope you fine what you need.
anyone here that is very familiar with the advanced config tool v3.3 that can guide me to the best set up for performance? many thanks in advance.

Well...best performance really depends on what you'd like to do with your phone. If by best performance you mean things like faster loading/bootup etc you can do that using the 'splash screen' option under advanced config. Check out the 'performance' key as well. Spend some time playing with the application.....it's pretty easy to understand and operate...giving you great control over what you'd like to accomplish using your device. If you have some specific requests...let me know.
honestly, i'd just try everything that seems to be performence related until i found out what's best for me.
it's highly individual.
one issue I would like to see resolved through advanced config is this......if i have a program running like google maps or any other internet intense program and my phone rings it takes FOREVER for it to acknowledge when i push the answer button. any idea why this is or how to fix it?
Hmm....I guess that's like default phone functionality. What device are you using? For better performace all around....you might wanna consider flashing a cooked rom onto your device. Pick one that's relatively clean...and with some luck....your phone will probably run faster that way.
I`m trying to run flash player in Opera, with no luck... Do you have any ideas how to do that? Have someone been able to run it in opera?
And I want it, but I think is no way to do this.
All (more or less recent) Opera versions allowed to enable Flash, I guess it's some licensing issues that makes them disable Flash support in all their release versions.
There's a program called "Flash enabler" here on xda, you can try that. It may not work because it modifies opera.ini, and Leo Opera uses the registry to store its settings. The trick is to find out what changes need to be made and make them manually. You'll need a modified axobjects.ini and a couple of tweaks. Looking into the ROM I can see that all needed files are there.

Is anybody or you going to write about the steps providing working flash in Opera?
I gave a suggestion with regard to where to look. I personally don't have an HD2 yet (although I'm using an Opera Mobile 9.7 from a Leo ROM, and it certainly supports flash). Moreover, when I get an Opera with flash support one of the first things I do is disable it. I don't like the thing, although I prefer to have it handy, just in case.
So I'd suggest that you guys look for a solution. I will look into it but only after I get hold of the device myself.
I'm also looking for this info in order to use BBC iplayer but so far to no avail
I don't know if it helps but internet explorer for mobile is flash enabled, but iplayer doesn't work on that... from searching people suggest opera, then I saw a post which linked back here suggesting installing coreplayer.if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful to know, or even if there's any chance of an iplayer app coming out for wm6.5?
it is easy to run flash in explorer, but i dont like that app (it doesnt have pinch to zoom).. i tryied opera flash fix, but leo isnt oficcialy supported, so i hadnt luck... im not developer, so i cant make any devwork here :-(
Hi All, I am a somewhat noob around here and you have all been VERY helpful with a number of questions that I have. I think that I may now be able to post a thread that might be helpful to others that are having problems getting their market to work. So here is a rundown of all the market fixes I have found, along with the list of steps for the one that worked for me since this one is only documented in a YouTube video as far as I can tell.
Market Fix #1 - Clear Cache's
=======================
This fix is listed in the thread on ROM's way down at the bottom. It worked great for me on TnT Lite and Stock ROM with the Enhancement Pack. It's simple and really just has you clear the Cache and force stop the Market and Services Framework.

Market Fix #2 - Titanium Backup
=========================
This is a fix that basically adds a step to Fix #1. You will additionally do a "Wipe Data" for the Google Service Framework using Titanium Backup. This fix worked for me on TnT Lite a few times when Fix #1 did not do the job.

Market Fix #3 - YouTube Video Method
==============================
Ok, this is the magic little fix that I think gets overlooked. I had a hard time getting anything to fix the Market after installing Vegan 5.1B5 and this was the fix. This fix is REALLY similar to #1 except the steps are in a specific order and you DO NOT Clear Data on the Market.
As far as I can see, this fix has not been documented beyond a posted link to the video. If you watch the video while doing something else it looks just like fix #1, so here are the steps to make your life a bit easier. Note that you need to perform these EXACTLY AS LISTED IN IN THE EXACT ORDER if you want this to work.
1. Load Market
2. Hit Home Then Choose Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / Running Applications
3. Under Running Applications Choose "Market"
4. Clear Cache (Market)
5. Force Stop (Market)
6. Go back and now choose "Google Service Framework"
7. Clear Data (Google Services Framework)
8. Force Stop (Google Services Framework)
9. Hit Home and Load the Market. You should recieve an error - This is GOOD.
10. Shut down the tablet and restart
11. Wait about 2 minutes to let the device settle down after the reboot
12. Load the Market - You should be asked to accept the agreement.
13. You should now have most/all the apps

3. It's really scary!

None of this info is really new and it's all pilfered from the linked threads, but I think that this thread may save some other noob some time since it took me a lot of time to find all these fixes. As Always, use all this at your own risk... Good luck!

What about the app that does it for you? I downloaded something from a thread floating around that simulates you are on a phone.
EDIT: Found the thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933404 It fixed a lot of my issues and was very easy to use. App is called Market Access
Since I haven't seen any kind of TUT like this and since I don't know which forum is suitable for this thread, because there isn't a general Huawei forum, I've decided to write it here.
We all know that huaweidevices(dot)ru is one of the biggest archives of Huawei stock ROMs, for almost all devices. But, in order to download them, many unexperienced users (like myself) have downloaded ROMs from there using their adware-filled downloader, that resulted in infecting our machines. Last night, I found a solution to download the .rar-ed ROMs directly, without any download manager, just by using your browser, and it's no big deal - quite simple.
First of all, you need to locate your device's page, using the search bar:

Then, slam down ctrl+shift+c on your keyboard to enter the Inspect element menu (I've been using Opera for the tut, it's the same shortcut for Chrome also, I don't know is it like that for other browsers):

Now hit ctrl+f and enter .rar in the search bar of inspect element diagram window, then use the up/down arrows to find the desired ROM's link (it ends with .rar), right click on it, go to open link in new tab, and PROFIT.
