Can't contact 150, even from land line, cant make calls from my Kiaiser, can't receive calls as they get a network busy message.
I am in South West London.
Me too!
Me too on my Tytn (1). Can only call or text when I get 3G reception, standard G is dead! When you call my number it just blanks - no dial tone, message centre, nothing...!
Just phoned my GF, she's got the same problem too.
Cheers for the reply, I can't get to 150 again on my old Nokia, in fact at one point I had full signal on my Nokia and nothing on my TyTN2! I phoned the 150 earlier and they had a recorded message about the network being down.
Same her on my wizard, it came back on, and then off again ...

Someone left me a voice mail the other day and commented that they had to wait for '....your call is being transfered please hold ..... your call is being transfered please hold .....' two or three times before getting to my recorded message.
I am sure that callers used to go directly to my recorded message with no wait. I know it doesn't sound like much but people do not bother waiting and leaving a message. I have tested this myself and it happens everytime
I'm on o2 200 with an xda2s. ( I know it's nothing to do with the phone )
Any ideas if this can be fixed by o2 - is it something they have recently changed on the o2 network? Any ideas. Anyone else on o2 have the same thing ?

How does my phone know I have voicemail waiting?
Does the handset query the provider to check for new voicemail or does the provider send some sort of signal to the handset when I have voicemail waiting?
I currently have a problem with a large number of handsets on a business account with Orange which sometimes do not get notifications of voicemail for a number of days after the message is left.
If anyone can give me some detail on how the voicemail system works it would be much appreciated.
i'm not sure if this applies for you but my carrier (optus) here in australia sends an sms / text message informing me of voicemail. so say i missed a call or my phone was off (and someone tried contacting me), i receive an sms saying "number 0123456789 called but you were not able to answer. a voice mail was left. please call 321 to retrieve it."
cheers
A little guy is creeping through the air and lighting up a symbol in your phone - hahahaha
It's part of WM registry tracking for notifications
HKCU\System\State\Messages\TotalEmail\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\sms\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\mms\Unread\Count
HKCU\System\State\Phone\Missed Call Count
HKCU\System\State\Messages\vmail\Line1\Unread\Count
This info is basically pushed down to your phone by the provider changing a reg bit from 0 to 1. Sometimes, after you listened to your VM this bit is not cleared thus "dangling notifications" function in a lot of cleaners.

Incoming calls from abroad
Hi all,
My friend from the UK has tried about thirty times to call me over about three days. I dont hear the calls coming through on my Android. When he does get through only about three times, then various Serbian phone numbers show up in my phone call log? And only once did his own UK number show up in my call log. My son also tried to phone me over the past few days, from South Africa on Facebook Messenger and I could hear background noises, but not his voice. When I tried to call back, same. Yet everyone else who calls me can get through to me? Why do Serbian numbers show up? Why does it not ring on my side when my UK friend calls me. It does ring on my side when my son calls with Messenger from South Africa but we can't hear each other at all?
Hi all,
My son ordered this phone from deal extreme and we knew that it wouldn't have total support for 4G frequencies in our area, but we only needed text and telephone, not data. When the phone arrived, it connected to the network fine and he was able to send texts so we thought all was well since, as I understand it, SMS rides on the voice data packets so if SMS works, so should voice.
We soon noticed that he could not make or receive telephone calls. We spent quite a bit of time playing with settings on the phone and calling Virgin Mobile (Canada) tech support. They, too, thought that since he could SMS, he should be able to call. They could see that the IMEI was attempting to make calls through their network and they added it to his account but to no avail.
I am currently trying to get the phone replaced through deal extreme, but I've been asked if it can be repaired. What do you guys think?
Here is a video of the problem.

Thanks for any helpful input!

Hi,
I have not been using my OP6 because of a strange issue with it since OOS 10.3.9 (maybe since May 2021)
This issue is: I can not make nor receive normal call with any provider. but my network bar is full and my 4G internet is running smoothly.
If I try to make a call, it just show the call screen, no calling tone and no waiting tone and the other phone doesn't ring.
If I try to call my OP6 from other phones, it just doesn't connect, no call tone no waiting tone... My OP6 also doesn't show any incoming call.
I'm sure my sim cards are OK, I have tried to put them in a different phone and they can make normal call.
If my sim card slots were broken, I would not have any coverage and my 4G wouldn't work...
I can receive SMS just fine.
anybody can help me?
thank you
I had the same issue, at the end oneplus said, bring it to a service center while there plenty or forum posts in their forums from technician saying it's the network chip, i got a new phone but will attempt to replace that chip once i got my replacement.
You could try other stuff, full wipe, other roms etc.
