I've had mine for a couple days now. got it from mobileplanet.
As for 3G, i live in an edge area only (on cingular). but this evening i am going into a 3g area and will check up on it. i have no idea what you mean about call volume!
For those techies out there who might want to know this, here it is. This is from the unbranded treo 750 i recieved today from mobileplanet who imported them from their UK expansys stores.
(Went to Settings-->System-->About for those who may wonder...)
Under Version:
Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0
OS 5.1.195 (Build 14995.2.6.3)
Processor: SC32442A-300MHz
Under Phone it says:
Software Version: TREO750-1.16-RWE
Hardware Version: P
Serial Number: Nah...
Phone Number: nope.
Firmware Version: 1.27.0b.00
By way of comparison, the Cingular branded one which I am returning to palm has:
Under Version:
Microsoft Windows Mobile Version 5.0
OS 5.1.195 (Build 14959.2.3.2)
Processor: SC32442A-300MHz
Under Phone it says:
Software Version: TREO750-1.13-CNG
Hardware Version: A
Serial Number: Nah...
Phone Number: nope.
Firmware Version: 1.17.20.00
Thats definitely newer than my Treo 750v I got back in November. I have
OS: 5.1.195 (b14959.2.3.2)
Software: TREO650-1.12-VFU
Hardware Rev: A
Firmware: 1.12.0a.00
I am dying for an update to fix some nigling issues. Hopefully Vodafone comes through soon, or Palm releases an update for the unlocked version.
Real or Memorex?
That's a REAL unlocked from palm, not those e-bay Cingular unlocked ones floating around?

So the firmware appears to be more recent than my Cingular which also says 1.17.20.00, is there somewhere I can grab that ROM? Would my phone still work with Cingular with that ROM?

Hi folks
I am new in this world.
Here is the problem. My girl has her samsung I9003, bought in Hong Kong last oct. She is now studying in UK. Recently she mentioned to me that her phone experienced crash regularly with all info lost after reboot. She is completely novice, and is a pure smartphone user. I suspect that her phone may experience firmware upgrade failure via Kies.
Now her phone failed to chat with the PC's USB, as PC cannot detect it.
I got the following info when I asked her about phone info through "About Phone" and *#1234#
PDA:I9003ZHKPD
PHONE: I9003XXKPM
CSC:I9003ZZHKP9
Build Info: Sat Oct 29 16:14:38 KST 2011
Firmware version:2.3.5
Baseband version: I9003XXKPM
Kernel version:2.6.35.7-CL696171 [email protected]#1
Build number GINGERBREAD.ZHKPD
Digging from the internet leads me to think that the three signatures: PDA, PHONE and CSC should bear similar suffix strings, or at least very similar. But in this case, ZHK points to Hong Kong, while XXKP points to Europe.
By the way, what are the significance of those signatures?
I am writing to ask you guy to see if anyone knows whether this is the cause of the phone failure. (If this is a hardware failure, or software failure)
The phone is still under warranty in Hong Kong. So any suggestion as to whether this problem can be fixed remotely in UK, or the phone need to be shipped back to Hong Kong for repair under warranty.
Your help is much appreciated.

Please specify your phone branding/version. International unbranded version of 8X had the update for a week now. T-Mo's 8X started update yesterday. Other carrier versions, haven't heard anything.
So, it is important that you specify which 8X you have.

It wasn't possible before the update.

Check your version info?
I'm on Verizon Branded which I am desperate to unbrand and they still havent released the latest firmware either!
Verizon = NO!
My phone seems to be very good at getting updates. I got Portico before Christmas and now I've just had another update, here's the details:
OS: 8.0.10211.204
Firmware revision number: 1532.20.20005.401
Hardware revision number: 0002
Radio software version: 1.11b.32.19.23_2_15.42.32.19
Radio hardware version: 2.126.0.D4
Bootloader version: 0.0.1532.20(162966)
Chip SOC version: 8260A
Anyone else getting any updates through and have an idea what it does? I know it'll all be under-the-hood improvements but I've not noticed anything yet.
Sorry if this isn't anything new. I've had a look and didn't see anything on the front page with this firmware at least.
This is quite old, got this update a month ago
I have tried to find information regarding the update but have not been able to find anything. I saw on the Tmobile forums that some people received it a few days ago also, but I still haven't been able to pull the update. Tmobile is possibly revealing the LTE network on March 26th in a press conference, so it is possible that the update could be to allow LTE on the phone like they did in the Lumia 810.
Hi there, I am hoping someone can please help me
I have just bought an LG G2 D802 from a Hong Kong based Ebay store. It was sold to me as a brand new phone but I am having some suspicions about this. For a start - the IMEI number actually matches up to a Nokia 3310. I have had no success with getting 4g ever & knock on feature does not work. Apart from this - it's a terrific phone & arrived in a box with stickers on etc & looked brand new. The box says "made in China" but the phone says "made in Korea". Is there any way to tell besides pulling it apart to check the motherboard? Have I reason to be suspicious? The Seller insists it is a new phone.
Model: LG G2 D802
Software Info:
Android version 5.0.2
Baseband version: M8974A-AAAANAZM-1.0.190128
Kernel version: 3.4.0
Build number: LRX22G
Software version V30a-HKG-XX
