Ive recently reseted and reinsalled everything.
Now I can't use the themes that came bundeled with sbp pocket plus.
Any ideas?

Hi Guys
I have an SPV M700. When I pressed the phone green button I used to have advanced dialing features whereby if I press on the Alphanumeric keypad, the phone would lookup the sequence in my Contacts and shortlist the names that begin with my input.
I have recently installed SPB Pocket Plus (A great plugin), and everything was OK, then today I downloaded the Silver Theme, and I lost my Phone Smart dialing Options
Can anyone help me get it back

Hi,
I got my Touch Pro this morning and am very disapointed about the new TouchFlo. When using my old Touch with the first version of TouchFlo I could use it along with other today plugins. In this new 3D version there is no space for 3rd party today plugins.
I'm using a dual sim adapter (an analog one) and used to switch the cards with the help of "Dual Sim Today". This great plugin showed me wich card was active and let me switch them with just one click.
Although I already searched the the forums and web for a solution I was not able to solve the issue.

So I think maybe it's because I've got a Touch Pro and Yoshi owns a Touch Diamond. This is why I'm opening a new thread here.
I'm sure I can't be the only one who want's to use other today plugins than TouchFlo 3D.

Cute as TF3D is, I just don't use it. It doesn't add much functionality, and it's too buggy. My TP is much more stable now. If I can get a fixed version of TF3D, I'll give it another go.

In the above thread, it also mentions "2nd Today", which can be found here. It's being actively developed (latest version 25/Sep), so it should be stable enough....

search for secondtoday - it will allow you to run a second today screen and hence enable you to use your standard today plugins on the second screen.... or remove TF3D.eeti
update... beaten to the post! Secondtoday is great and stable - ive been using it with no problems for over 3 weeks.

I have just got an O2 Zest [asus crystal I think] and it goes fine. this forum helped me do a regedit to turn off the SIM contacts using WM6.1.
It has an O2 version of mobile shell which doesnt seem as good as the latest SBP v3.0 . For instance you cannt turn off the SIM contacts as you can in SBP v3.
There seems to be more functionality with SBP
Is it worth changing to the latter and do I just load it to the Zest?
Do I have to uninstall the O2 shell version
Thoughts and advice would be appreciated

Not sure if you can turn off the O2 shell as such.
One trick i used when i had an Alpine that was to do a hard reset, bearing in mind this will wipe everything, and then when it has rebooted it will show you a message "Customisation in 3 seconds" or similar. While this message shows do a soft reset and when it boots this time you will have a naked phone with none of the O2 customisation.
As i said it worked on my Alpine, don't know if it works on the newer models.

I have bitten the bullet & downloaded and loaded a trial version of SBP v3'
It deletes the O2 version and replaces it.
It is great , much better than the OS version. makes O2 Zest much more flexible and easy to use,
I will buy the license!!

I have a Polaris/TC with TomTom7 installed. It has worked fine but
suddenly when I try to use TomTom I got the message "GPS-unit missing"
I have downloaded "quick_GPS" several times, done soft reset, checked that
internal antenna is used in TT etc. but no luck !
Please help me with some ideas for toubleshooting, I realy liked my TomTom !

Hm, could be hardware error... or, hopefully, borked COM settings in TomTom.
So first try COM settings (check what settings TomTom requires).
Then try some other NAV software (any would be good, even freeware - there's a lot of them. Google Maps might do).
Then you might try pain-in-the-ass option of hard reset.
If after that it's not working, then only repair remains...

Im always in a hurry, so I uppdated my TC to wm 6.1 and after that
TomTom decided to work again ! (don´t ask me why)
BUT ! as an old guy (56) its not so easy to remember every thing, I forgot to
backup my phone...and my numbers to the sim-card
So I have had a nice evening recover all phone-numbers.....
I have another issue, I have eraesed the standard TomTom from
TC and installed a better one.
Now I how to get the shortcut for TT on the start/main screen ??
Ah... I'm not much younger (49), but as IT manager I ALWAYS do backup...
You have not erased TT (uninstalled, temporary... since it's part of official ROM. So it's gone untill next hard reset).
I use standard HTC Home plugin, so I added my GPS software (iGO) as one of the shortcuts on tab 3.
However, you can use Windows Commander Mobile to easily put shortcut to anything practically anywhere.
Or you can simply select TT and add it to Start menu instead of something else...
If I may ask, where did you get you version of WM 6.1 (HTC, XDA-Devs etc)? If XDA, which particular one of the various "cooked" (I think thats the term..) ROMs. I have been looking at upgrading recently and would value your opinon on the version you are using..

My WM 6.1 is from HTC site.
Since my device was never SIM-locked, I was able to upgrade existing 6.0 to 6.1.
I have heard that most SIM-locked devices were not allowed to upgrade from HTC site.
Have not yet tried cooked ROMs...
My opinion of upgrading to 6.1 is stated somewhere on this forum... just search for my posts...
ok so iv been using HTC for a few years now and im not new to flashing OS and such using different SW Cabs but i recently got a HP Glisten/Obsidian OS 6.5, well the truth is iv never been a fan of 6.5 thats why i never flashed it on any other phone, anyway im having the hardest time finding any theme to use on my phone so i dont have to use the 6.5 out of the box, iv used spb but i dont have really any options as far as widgets go and i cant even get it to work properly i.e. screen animation or completely uninstall which means im gonna have to hard reset at some point.
my screen res is QVGA but its landscape mode QVGA iv searched the forums and found many themes but im not sure what to use on my phone there is very little on this phone at all even though it is a WM OS there is a lot of cabs that dont work at all for me so i wouldnt know where to start as far a theme due to the way my screen is set up.
so any suggestions out there on what my options might be would be greatly appreciated thanks so much
