I don't know if a thread like this has been posted before but i was wondering if there is a program (like Voice Command) that can speak out your incoming messages.

I have read that the voice command feature to announce incoming calls doesn't work and sprint will be putting out a new rom to fix that. My question is, how will I know when Sprint does that? Where would I even look to find an updated rom? What I really want to do is have my phone announce the callers by name. My friend has a Samsung phone that and when people call her it says "call from Jane" or whatever name she has them stored under. When Sprint does fix the voice command thing, will it actually say the person's name or will it just say something like "incoming call" ? Is there anything else I can do or download to achieve this?
I would like to be able to program it to make calls and even play a recorded message upon being answered

I would like to program it to send text messages or receive them with automatic replies
even if I am asleep
does this exist?
It seems like a lot of people have the problem that when you say "Send text to Jon Smith" in Google voice commands, it types into the body of the message instead of into the recipient box.
Also, does the phone natively have the ability to read back texts to you, or do you have to install third party software?
If it does, how do you access it?
Since the phone didn't come with a manual or anything to explain it, this is useful.

So, I've been looking around to no avail, but I'm 100% certain this has been discussed before. When I use google voice to make outgoing calls on my android phone, regardless of rom, when I make a call to my contacts they are displayed as "unknown number", but when they make calls it shows their name and all that. Any idea why this is happening? thanks for the help.
All of a sudden today when I try to intiate a text or call to a contact via S Voice on my S2 the watch doesn't seem to be able to find the contact. I get a message "Not found. Who would you like to text instead" or "Not found. Who would you like to call instead". Other commands like asking time or even making a call to a nearby business. But it won't call or text a contact!!! Anyone else seeing this behavior?
