As the title implies,
Ive search quite a while for a software that monitors and records and logs phone call made my XDA 2, this is to monitor if I am still within my network providers free minutes allocation.
I had something like that in I-meter but that only works in Smartphones. Is there a software like this for XDA 2 or XDA ?
thanks for the replies.

Here in Holland we have to pay to listen to our voicemail messages.
I was wondering if there is an app that does the following:
Auto picksup after 15-20 secs, then plays a message + beep, and then records a message on your phone locally.
This would save me alot of cash.
So does anyone knows an app like this?
Thanks!
I have recently started using Tasker. It can completely (almost) automatically. It can auto answer calls, play files and record calls. It can be fiddly, but is powerful and should do what you want (and more).

Hmm, it's kind of pricy.
I would like to try if this program offers what I want before I pay this much for it

Google Voice is not available in your country.
Thanks for visiting Google Voice. We're not yet open for users outside the US, but are planning to expand our service to additional countries in the future.
That blows, is your phone rooted?

Maybe try talking to them to change that policy? Requiring empty SMS is a really stupid idea ...
Did you try the usual alternative SMS apps (Handcent, GO SMS, ...)?

Sure you can, if by empty, you mean a visual empty body.
There will always be more information sent through the air than you can see.
OP: Try sending just a full dot or something and see if that works.
If that doesn't work, 'GO SMS Pro' lets you send spaces. It's a free download in the Market.

This looks interesting but doesn't support BlackBerry which is what most of my contacts in Indonesia use.
Ok...what's the catch? This cannot be this good and save me money at the same time!
TextPlus is awesome!
Before I cancel my texting plan on two phones....can someone tell me something I need to know?
It's just too good to be true.
I tried to install it on my transformer via market and it says its not compatible with my country. I live in Canada so guess its a no go for us canucks

How could it possibly be hardware related? The call log is just a file. You could literally store a million calls in a file with the Sensation's internal memory.
I don't know how to have a larger than 500 call log that you can easily access. But...you can use Titanium or a similar back up app to back up your call log after every 500 calls and save it as a new back up each time. So if you need the call log for business or legal purposes you'd have them and could view them. It would just take a little bit of work.

But it's impossible to increase that number right?
On a custom rom it's possible but on stock sense 3/3.6........

Yeah... That would be my suggestion. Maybe it would be possible by changing something on the custom rom, but I'm sure there has to be an app to manage that.

Hey
Has anyone found a quality application that once its installed on a phone it will:
remain invisible to the user
record/send all SMS, MMS, and possibly GTalk/other
record/send all phone calls (voice)
everything sent to a single access point
potentially control how/when sent to force over wifi at specific time, etc
Any app you have used that does some/most of this, can you please link it for me? paid or free is ok.
I thank you for your help and yes this will be used on phones I own and have full rights over with the user's knowledge.
This is so wrong. I don't think this is allowed. I don't think anyone can post a link to an app like that, even if you have the rights. Someone else could use it in the wrong way.

Its to monitor my children's phone. No different than the monitoring software on my PCs. They know it will be installed and when they are a bit older and more mature, it will be removed.

I am pretty sure nothing out there offers call recording. But, this has most of what you want.
Okay well you can't get an app like that I can guarentee you that. No app can record voice calls, not even with root permission, it is due to android limitations. I don't believe MMS either, but don't take my word on that. But the thing that makes me feel pretty suspicious is that you say that your kids will know the app is on the device and you have their permission, but why do you want the app to be hidden from the devices user? If you want to be able to monitor their phones well, install androidlost on their devices and set it up to an account that you control. I'm sorry but I will not post any links to any secret monitoring apps because I do not approve of them, and they are illegal without permission, and in all truth just because you say you have permission, doesn't prove to me you have permission, you could be lying to me and you want to put this on some random friends phone to monitor his/her phone. Sorry I just can't be sure.

Only reason to be invisible is so they cannot simply remove it.

Tell them not to remove the app, and if they do the website will inform you because it will stop receiving information from the phone, and then you can just take away their phone.

This is about 80% of what you're talking about.
It can do everything in bold:
remain invisible to the user
record/send all SMS, MMS, and possibly GTalk/other
record/send all phone calls (voice) <- Call log only
everything sent to a single access point
potentially control how/when sent to force over wifi at specific time, etc'
