I heard about some batteries selling at ebay at lower prices, what is your opinion on those? Good or no good? Has anyone gotten those?
Thank you thank you (sorry if this topic is not ok I don't know where else to ask)
Equator
depends what you are looking for, for example I had a battery for my XDA 1 though it took that long to get to me by the time I recieved it I had got my XDA 2, though I have to say its in very good con, and I am one selling it on ebay.
so to your answer is yes and no, just depends who is selling it as the only let down is waiting for it.

+1, Might invest in one as a backup.
Waiting for reviews
+1 A review would be awesome.
The only place that stocks them online is eBay. This makes me suspicious straight away.
Had bad experiences with cheap batteries. We ordered one for a customers camera once, it arrived, we left it on the counter, it caught fire before we'd even taken it out of the packaging.
My advice? Steer clear. I'd certainly not put it anywhere near my phone.
I have battery from ebay for my nokia n95, psp, samsung omnia, xbox 360 controll. never had any problem with them. batterylife is not as good as orginal but they cost 10 times less.
ah too bad they only ship within UK...
why do most UK sellers do that? can't be because of the shipping costs, because those are passed on to the customer
They have sold 42 so far off that page, what I do sometimes is go into their feedback and see if someone has bought that battery from them. Then I send them a message and ask them directly if the battery is any good and if they noticed any difference in how long the phone lasts.
Heres the link guys.

It think its a pretty good deal.
Beware that cheap batteries from HongKong/China tend to not hold charge at what they are listed and have much less battery life.
Either if they are from US or Hong Kong, it doesn't really matter. If you purchase them from the states, where do you think they came from? For 9.98 I'm willing to give it a shot.

I bought the same deal for my Evo 2 weeks ago and don't notice a difference from these batteries and the stock one. It should be the same for the Epic too

I'm waiting to hear about this. The EVO ones have I think close to 8000 sold now, and a lot of people are claiming that they're as good as stock OEM.
With any luck, this is the same deal and if that's the case I'm grabbing one, no questions asked.

I ordered them, as soon as they get here I'll let you know.
Thank for the info. I just ordered the $9.95 package from Ebay. Free shipping too. Ya can't go wrong for that price.
just ordered it, figured 10 bucks is worth the risk. Would be a steal if they are even half as good.
First time every buying anything from eBay but even at an $11 loss, I think it's worth it.
If it arrives, I'll make sure to let everyone know how it holds up.
Bought one yesterday too!
Will report my findings!
one thing to note is that the specs say that the output for DC is only 350mA +/-50mA which means it will charge pretty darn slowly... nonetheless, can't complain for $10!

The wall charger that comes with these batteries is a trickle charger. This is similar to how your battery is charged via a usb port on your computer.
Thanks OP, just copped one for myself. Will post results when they arrive
i will probably get this deal too, but you do know that it takes 3 weeks for things to show up from hong kong right?

Are there any places yet to get a reasonably priced spare battery for the G2x/O2x?

I just found this:
http://ioomobile.com/shopbybrand/872-momax-battery-for-lg-optimus-2x-p990-1400mah.html
I assume that an O2x battery would work on the G2x? I've used a Momax battery on my N1 and I get decent life out of it.
expansys us has one for pre order. 39 bucks i think.
here it is http://www.expansys-usa.com/lg-optimus-2x-battery-210068/
i personally wouldn't use anything other than an oem battery.
Good to know. I got two non original batteries for my Nexus One. One was a fake from DinoDirect that looked authentic but barely lasted half what it should have. But the Momax I bought from NCIX is so close to the original in performance that I usually forget which one is actually in there.

I'm interested too. Looking for "Optimus 2X" on eBay had no results.
Mugen's (www.mugen-power-batteries.com) working on a battery. Typically they're more amps than stock in the same form factor. They're more expensive than stock and better quality. They have a great reputation and I buy their batteries whenever I can.

What about this?

We've got another thread in here, that should probably be merged with this one, but a bunch of us are gonna start bugging Seidio to make a larger capacity battery for these. It seems like brand new, it has the standby and usage time that my year+ old Nexus one does.

Yep, I've gotten burned by fake batteries from eBay before, so be careful and only buy batteries with positive reviews.
I was a big fan of the Mugen I had in my G2, hopefully there is an 1800 mAh+ battery out in the near future.
Hey guys, is this any good? I was planning on buying this; http://www.amazon.com/Laza-Battery-Fascinate-Captivate-T-mobile/dp/B004AOAV56/ref=pd_bxgy_cps_img_a
I've been digging through the battery threads, and found the general consensus is the Anker or Chichitec batteries are good choices. However, I really don't need 2 batteries. I found a supposed original Samsung branded 1800mAh for $14.99 on ebay. I was leaning towards this, and then found a lot of excitement about a Polarcell battery from germany. I found it available on ebay as well. They are basically the same price but they each have similar risk. The Samsung battery could turn out to be a fake, but it is at least a stateside company to deal with. The other one is a pretty sure bet, but a few have had problems and it would be a pain to deal with a company on the other side of the world. Anyone here have first hand experience with either of these? I'd post links to them, but cannot due to thread count.
was it this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gal...369834?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item41668cadea
In which case I'd bet money on that being legit OEM
Not sure about that polarcell though, I haven't heard of of one of them before
No, but it's about the same price. It was from seller accessorytrend. I guess if the OEM ones are going for that cheap now, maybe i'll finally bite. I'm putting a new case on and don't want to hassle with swapping batteries all the time.
I ordered an OEM Samsung Epic 4G Touch battery from Amazon, should get here tomorrow, will post results when I get it.

Ah man, shoulda cam here first, you coulda saved a little bit on it haha
Been looking everywhere for somewhere to replace or supply extra batteries for Chinese branded phones. Anyone know of any such places?
Ordered an Mpai n7100 from antelife.com (which only comes with 1 battery unfortunately) and have a feeling it may not last long.
So, I've been looking for the past hour for places that replace them. Any websites that have said they'll replace any battery seems to say "no we do not have that model" in their questions section. Or either from alibaba.com where the minimum order quantity is like 931843143123.
Anyway, would be really grateful if anyone could lend a hand. Searched the forums but only found references to replacement batteries for A-list phones. Lol.
Thanks in advance!
