Is there a maximun number of SMS messages that can be kept on board the XDA II?
Mine seems to act wierdly - not receiving some messages - or just blank notifications - when it hits 1000 in the inbox.
Could be something else I suppose! Strange though...

I have the Touch Pro 2 running WM 6.1. The text message count that sits on the folder in the bottom scroll bar says "4" as in 4 new text messages await in my inbox. Only problem is, I don't have any unread texts. I have tried deleting all of my text messages and making the inbox empty, as well as emptying the outbox, drafts, sent, etc. folders. The count still reads "4". The number continues to go up by one and it only does that when I text the same person and sometimes I will get my own text that I sent to them in my inbox. Anyone know what the problem may be???

shows a lil number in red with the amount of unread msg'z
you can get it on the market and it works great.
do you know any other program that advise you every, lets say 5 minutes, with a beep if you have any unread sms?
sry bud.....i found this on youtube...
I have a bespoke program for reading the sms inbox and I just want to set to zero the sms Unread : checked with the value of SMS Unread but it is not working , and also notification is always there
so please if you could point me to the program that is called using the Menu Notifications and the the right button (Tout Eff. in French , I think it is All Clear in English) and could you tell me how to mark the sms as Read without going into the inbox
I have recently started using GoSMS and have noticed that if I reply to an SMS within the same minute then my reply appears before the received text.
I don't see the seconds on the timestamp when I view message details so the app is obviously sorting my date hh:mm and takes priority of messages sent than received.
Is this a bug in GoSMS or a limitation of Android?
I know I can change the sort order but then this puts messages in the wrong order if I receive a message late.

If I send a text message to multiple people (with MMS turned off, so it actually sends SMS), it's grouping that text in it's own little section in the text messaging app, instead of putting the message inline with the rest of the conversations with the respective people. Is there a way to fix this? setting perhaps? It's very annoying!
Thanks,

Because that is how group messages are handled...as their own conversation...you could try turning group messages off in the app settings...
